The walk to the top of the summit offers stunning uninterrupted panoramic views of the coastline from Noosa to Maroochydore. In the months between June and November, you may even be able to catch a glimpse of the humpback whales as they migrate along the coast.

Interestingly the mountain is, in fact, the remnant rock from a larger volcanic mass that once existed in its place.

The walk is rather short and is roughly a 1.1km return walk to the summit depending on where you choose your start and finish points to be.
