Relax on the shoreline of Nelson Lake at Lily Pad Lake House. Our relaxing 2-BR home away from home is tucked in beaver bay on Nelson Lake. Our carefully designed retreat is the quintessential outdoor getaway, close to downtown Hayward (7.1mi), Birkie Trail (7.0mi), Snowmobile (trail#4)/ATV (trail#5) Direct Access, Boat landings - Nelson Lake 4.1mi (Dam Rd Landing). Perfect for family fun, couples ski retreats, fishing the area lakes, and many other activities for up to 6 guests and 1 dog!
This home truly has room for your family to spread out and enjoy.
The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances; including a glass stove top, crockpot, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker, hand mixer, toaster, air fryer, blender, and more!
Dinning room includes large table with seating for 6. Dishes are stocked and provided for you to cook a family meal.
The living room opens up to allow seating for 6 with one couche and 2 casual sitting chairs. A TV with Roku that is WIFI ready, and allows you to log into all of your favorite streaming channels/apps in the sun room. DVD player for rainy days or kids movies of your own. Complimentary WI-FI for guests to use or work.
There is a Washer and Dryer off the Kitchen. Please bring your own detergent and dryer sheets.
There is no garage or covered parking onsite for guest use. The driveway will fit 2 trucks and 2 boat trailers, or 4 cars / trucks.
Back yard deck with an outdoor dining table with chairs. A propane grill and a firepit area with additional seating to gather around the campfire.
This slab grade 1-level home has heated floors throughout. ADA FRIENDLY with even a roll in shower.
Primary Bedroom - 1 King Bed with En suite Bathroom, also includes a workspace with desk and chair.
Second Bedroom - 1 Queen bed
The Sun Room off of the living room has a queen size pull out sofa sleeper with bedding and pillows in the guest room closet with 2 extra sleeping arrangements.
Full Bathroom next to the second bedroom.
There is not central A/C in this home, but each bedroom does have fans, and with it being on the lake, there is a nice breeze that comes into the home when windows are open.
NOTE- This home is for family vacations and small friend group get togethers and is in an exclusive neighborhood. It is not to be used as a party home. You must be 25 or older to rent this home. It is only through your responsible actions that we can continue to offer this private home as a rental. Please respect our home and take good care of it.
DOG FRIENDLY
We LOVE dogs and we want our guests to enjoy their vacation with the whole family, including the furry members :-) That being said, please be mindful of whether our home is appropriate for your dog. We do charge a 125$ non refundable pet fee per stay.
We may not be the vacation rental for you if your dog:
*Consider barking to be a favorite pastime;
*Chew things other than bones;
*Like to visit the neighbors unsupervised (we do not have a fenced-in yard), and/or;
*Use the house as a bathroom.
Please bring all needed dog items with you, we allow up to one 65 lbs dog. We ask that your dog be supervised when at the cabin and crated when you are not. Also, it should not need to be said (but unfortunately needs to be, as we have had guests leave enough surprises for us), but PLEASE pick up after your dogs!! It is NOT the responsibility of our cleaners.
This 2 bedroom 2 bath home is located on Nelson Lake with an average size driveway. The entire house and yard is for your enjoyment. We ask you please respect the neighbors, and stay off their property. We have a keypad to provide access to the guest. A full list of access instructions will be sent to you 24 hrs before check-in via email.

door. Please write this down once you receive it. Please be sure to lock

position; otherwise, it will lock each time and require the code to enter.

House Rules
USE OF PREMISES. It is understood and agreed by the Parties, that the Tenant shall use the demised premises for the purpose of vacationing only. Landlord does not rent to vacationing students or singles under the age of twenty-five (25), unless they are supervised at all times by an adult or guardian or parent. By renting this property, the Tenant agrees there will be no vacationing students or singles under the age of twenty-five (25) in the premises, unless they are so supervised. Violation of such paragraph, would terminate the tenancy at the time of knowledge, forfeiting any and all security deposit and still require the Tenant to pay for the full term of the occupancy, without recourse.
FIREWORKS: It is hereby understood and agreed by all parties that no fireworks may be set off at any time, in the premises or on the grounds. Violation of this provision will be subject to a $500 fine per occurrence plus the Tenant will be responsible for any and all damages to the property and to the property of any neighbors. Again, there are absolutely NO fireworks allowed to be discharged on premises.
ITEMS PROVIDED. Landlord shall provide all bedding, full kitchen accessories, kitchen, hand and dishwasher soap, fire pit, and propane for the barbecue grill.
ITEMS NOT PROVIDED. The Guest shall be responsible for providing the following, but not limited, items: beach towels, bathroom soap and hair shampoo, laundry detergent and fabric softener (needed only if you plan to wash clothes at the premises), firewood (if you want to have a bonfire and something to light the fire with), yard toys (like volleyball, frisbees, soccer ball, softball and bat, football to play catch with), DVD's for a rainy day, and board games. It is also understood that there is not a landline telephone at the premises.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY. It is hereby agreed and understood by all parties, that the maximum number of guests on-site is limited to the maximum occupancy listed in the description above. In the event, a Tenant is determined that more than the max occupancy of guests are on-site, other than visiting, this may be grounds for immediate eviction and all advance payments will be forfeited.
CAMPERS OR TENTS: No campers or tents are allowed on-premises.
GARAGE: There is no Garage or covered parking onsite.
CHECK OUT TIME: is 10:00 AM. If no prior arrangements have been made for a late checkout, you may be charged up to $150 per hour to cover the extra time housekeeping must wait.
DOCK: The property has 1 dock which can allow for up to TWO boats. There is also two kayaks on the shore that can be used free of charge. Life Vests are required, and must be worn. The user acknowledges the inherent risks involved with the use of kayaks on open water. That the user shall at all times follow the all boater safety laws of the State of Wisconsin in regards to said use which shall include but not limited to having a life preserver on at all times. The user also by executing this agreement waives all liability in regards their use of the kayaks. Please return them how you found them after use.
FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS. It is understood and agreed by the parties, that any reservation obtained under false pretenses will be grounds for immediate eviction and all advance payments will be forfeited.
INDEMNIFICATION. It is hereby understood and agreed that 1919 Properties, LLC, Property Owners and its employees, agents, or principals and assigns, shall not be liable for any and all damage or injury to or of the Tenant, Tenant's family, guests, invitees, agents or employees or other persons entering the premises and Tenant hereby agrees to indemnify, defend and hold 1919 Properties LLC and Property Owners harmless for any and all claims or assertions of any kind or nature as a result of injuries which may occur on the premises. This indemnification includes, but is not limited to, any damage or injury which may be incurred by Tenant, Tenant's family, guests, invitees, agents or employees or to any other person for damages or injuries which may arise from any contact, act, inaction, interaction from any and all animals, domestic or wild, which such damage or injury occurs on the premises.
EMERGENCY ACCESS. It is understood and agreed that the Landlord shall have access to the premises at all times for emergency purposes. If it is a non-emergency, Landlord shall be required to provide Tenant with a twenty-four (24) hour notice, which may be verbal and/or written. Tenant agrees to not unreasonably withhold access to the premises.
IMPORTANT: You can rest easy knowing your space is covered with $3,000 In "All-Risk" Damage Protection. Although rare, accidental damage from guests does happen. Traditionally, this was managed via a security deposit or vacation rental damage insurance purchased by the guest. Both are cumbersome and often have big limitations in protection. With "all-risk" protection, all accidental damage from guests is covered unless it's specifically excluded such as, but not limited to, normal wear and tear, infestation, or prior damage. Pet damages will be invoiced to the guest if damages is above our pet fee of 125$. Guest is fully responsible for their pet while staying with us.
Relax and Enjoy your Stay: It's Vacation time, so enjoy it with the peace of mind knowing that if an accident happens and damage occurs, you are protected under Waivo!
