This could not have been a more perfect spot for a girls' weekend home-base. We had plenty of space to hang out, eat, and relax. The three full bathrooms came in clutch for all of us to get ready in the morning. The bedroom set ups made it feel like we were at summer camp together. We highly recommend enjoying the morning sun with a cup of coffee on the patio. We truly didn't want to leave! Our best recommendation outside of the Airbnb is to hit up Powell's on Round Lake. Amazing drinks and food at a beautiful spot! And it's only a 7 minute drive from the house! Jenna was a friendly and helpful host and had quick responses when we had questions for planning purposes ahead of time. We were all grateful for a simple and easy check-out as well.

This was the perfect house for 16 guys to spend a long weekend playing golf. Each person had his own bed. Plenty of space in the family room for cards and games, spacious kitchen, two refrigerator/freezers and plenty of coffee cups and unbreakable plastic glasses. Enough outdoor space for bocce, cornhole (both sets provided by hosts), or other outdoor games. Great place for a large group. The bathrooms are well designed with pocket doors separating the shower and toilet from the double sinks - someone showering doesn't keep others from getting ready. The 4-night minimum drove the price up a bit, but still a solid value. If you've got a large group check out The Red Walleye!

We loved The Red Walleye. We had four families with 17 people, ages 3 years to 67 years old. The house was roomy, nearly new, great location. Beds are new and high quality mattresses. The house is surrounded by the golf course with lovely meadow flowers blooming. The extra fridge in the garage helped with our load of food and beverages needed for that many people. There is a nice patio and outdoor space to move around. If you have more children like we did, I would recommend bringing a few more lawn toys to play with. There are a few at the house but not a big variety. Great location to see Hayward and Cable. Many great food options close by. The Lumberjack Show was our highlight! We had an outstanding stay at The Red Walleye - highly recommend coming here and to Hayward! Jenna was also outstanding as a host - answered questions ahead of time and while we were there when we accidently locked a bedroom door. Thank you, Jenna!

The house is great - extremely clean, very specious, plenty of parking space, had all the essentials, fairly close to bars/restaurants/venues, and has plenty of yard space for activities and games especially if you have a big group like I did. In all honestly, Jenna played a big part in making the overall stay a positive experience. She was very accommodating, flexible, extremely responsive and always maintained an open line of communication with any questions we had. I highly recommend this place!!

Myself and 13 friends stayed at the Red Walleye for the weekend and had such a fantastic experience. First off, the space is amazing! The common area has a ridicoules amount of seating, which is impressive for such a large group. There are multiple tables for eating and there's a massive island in the kitchen that is optimal for making/prepping food. There are so many cool touches that make this place amazing (surround sound Bluetooth speakers that connect to your phone. The outdoor spaces are just as impressive as the inside spaces. There is a very large balcony on the 2nd floor with a great view. There was also a ton of fun games and amenities that made the space so fun. We loved the Solo Stove, and used it for a bonfire. In the garage there were plenty of outdoor chairs for everyone to use. It's a really short drive into Downtown Hayward (5 minutes), and there is a Subway, gas station, and Sevenwinds Casino within walking. Jenna was super responsive and helpful. We will be back!

Payment Policy
We accept payment by check or credit card. 50% of the payment is due at the time of the booking. The remaining 50% is due 3 months prior to the start of the reservation. (If the booking is made within the 3 month window, then 100% is due at the time of the booking).

We require a $200 security deposit which will be added to the total due and then refunded after your stay assuming there is no major damage.
