Plenty of space, luminous, beautifully furnished, great facilities!This beautiful stand-alone Alpine chalet has 5 spacious bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, and is built and furnished to a luxury standard. Situated in a small residential development near the village of Essert Romand, the chalet is 2.5km from Morzine. There are fields below the chalet great for sledging and wonderful views of the peaks of Nantaux and Chésery. Chalet Praline has a huge open-plan lounge / dining room with a log fire, and fully equipped kitchen. On the top floor there are 2 ensuite double bedrooms (1 of them is the master bedroom with king size bed and bathroom with bath, the other is a double bedroom with shower room) and a games area with pool table. On the lower floor, which overlooks the garden, there are 2 twin bedrooms, 1 triple and 2 bathrooms (both with bath and WC), a utility room and sauna. The chalet also has a garage which can be accessed from the lounge. We recommend that you have your own transport when staying at Chalet Praline though there is a “Balad’Aulps” bus service which runs through Essert Romand to Morzine, summer and winter, and stops approx 200m from the chalet.
We are part of the superb Summer Multipass offer, which means that our guests are able to use some leisure facilities in the whole of the Portes du Soleil for just €3 per person per day including the Morzine indoor and outdoor swimming pool complex. Ask us for more information about the Multipass.

Geneva Airport transfers: We operate our own airport transfer service in our licensed taxi minibus, which seats max 8 passengers in comfort with plenty of luggage space (VW Caravelle 4 x 4 long wheel base). We can offer shared transfers or private transfers, always door-to-door (unlike some transfer services who will drop you at the bus station!) – contact us for a competitive quote (Prices range from €90 per person return based on 4 travelling together, down to €66 return for 8 travelling together).
Lift pass purchase: We are able to arrange your lift passes in advance of your stay, so that they’re ready on your arrival at the apartment. We can take payment for these by credit card or bank transfer in advance, or cash on arrival in resort. We offer lower rates on Portes du Soleil and local (Morzine-Les Gets) passes than you can buy in resort. For rates for your chosen stay, contact us.
Help with arranging child care or babysitting: we have contacts with the in-resort childcare companies and can make the initial enquiries for you. For ad-hoc babysitting we have a list of trusted contacts and can put you in touch with them after you have booked.
Start-up grocery shopping: for those arriving too late to be able to buy supplies on your first day, or if you’re arriving by airport transfer, if you contact us with your shopping list with 2 days’ advance notice, we can purchase and deliver your first days’ groceries for you, with a small charge.
Full or part-catered service: we work with several highly recommended freelance caterers who can provide a combination of breakfasts, afternoon tea, daily cleaning, childrens suppers and adults 3 or 4 course dinner with or without wine included, and also a dinner delivery service.

Hi! I'm British born but have now been living more of my life in France than in the UK, and this is now my home. I've been running Mountain Highs Self-Catered Chalets and Apartments in Morzine since 1995 and I live in a little village just 5 mins down the valley from Morzine, with my 2 daughters, our border collie Sydney and our cats Tina and Asha.
I enjoy downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter, and trekking, road biking and lake swimming in the summer, and reading and music whenever I get the time ;) I also love to travel and get to know new places...wish there was just more time to get to all the places I haven't been to yet!
Morzine and the Portes du Soleil are a wonderful place to choose for a holiday and I feel I am very lucky to live here all year round. I am very keen for everyone who stays in our properties to have a great holiday and I personally spend a lot of time communicating with each and every Mountain Highs client. Chalet Praline is situated in La Merive - a little chalet development on the edge of Essert Romand, 2.5km from Morzine. There's a takeway pizza hut 200m from the chalet, and a little bar-Restaurant (La Petite Auberge) 1km form the chalet. The Carrefour hypermarket (with fuel station) is 3 minutes' drive away. We recommend that you have your own transport when staying at Chalet Praline though there is a “Balad’Aulps” bus service which runs through Essert Romand to Morzine and stops approx 200m from the chalet. It runs 7 times a day in each direction and costs 1.50€ per journey..

In the summer and autumn periods (when the rental rates are very much lower) there is an end of stay cleaning charge of €140 payable in Euros cash or cheque. This goes directly to the cleaners.

French short-term rental legislation requires that registered accommodation providers keep a record of all names of renters with their contact information. Failure to provide your email address or complete a booking form can result in cancellation of your booking.No smoking. No parties or events. Check-in is 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
