Ideal for winter ski trips, summer activity holidays or peaceful getaways between seasons.From the sunny balcony of this little apartment, the full panorama of mountain views opens up in front of you - the view is amazing! Pleney, Nyon and Chamossiere peaks - and youll have a window seat for the weekly torchlight descent and firework display! In summer you can make the most of the full south facing position, and enjoy your aperitifs or lunches around the high table, with a wind-out sunshade available if its too hot.
The main room contains a kitchen and dining area and a relaxing area opposite the wall-mounted TV. The contemporary kitchen is compact but perfect for preparing meals - theres a big fridge, a combi oven-microwave, and induction hob and dishwasher. Plenty of extra gadgets re available too: filter coffee machine, Senseo coffee maker (takes coffee sachets), a fondue set, a raclette / pierrade machine and a crepe / waffle maker.
The dining table has bench and chairs seating 4, and theres a comfortable sofa . Through a door into the sleeping area is a shower room with 4kg washing machine, a separate WC, and a curtained sleeping area with bunk beds - one is 1.40 and the other 90cm. At the front is a bright small double bedroom with king size bed and storage on either side of the bed.

Hi! I'm British born but have now been living more of my life in France than in the UK, and this is now my home. I've been running Mountain Highs Self-Catered Chalets and Apartments in Morzine since 1995 and I live in a little village just 5 mins down the valley from Morzine, with my 2 daughters, our border collie Sydney and our cats Tina and Asha.
I enjoy downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter, and trekking, road biking and lake swimming in the summer, and reading and music whenever I get the time ;) I also love to travel and get to know new places...wish there was just more time to get to all the places I haven't been to yet!
Morzine and the Portes du Soleil are a wonderful place to choose for a holiday and I feel I am very lucky to live here all year round. I am very keen for everyone who stays in our properties to have a great holiday and I personally spend a lot of time communicating with each and every Mountain Highs client. Don't hesitate to ask me if you'd like information that you don't see in my listings. I speak French, English and Italian, and can just about communicate in Spanish too, have patience!

There is a sofabed available in case two people do not want to share the main double bed, however we do not encourage the use of the sofabed and the occupancy is still set at maximum 4.
House Rules
No smoking allowed inside this property. You may smoke outside on the ground floor (not the balcony) on condition you close all doors and you dispose of all cigarette butts properly.
A damage Deposit of €300 is taken on your arrival (this rises to €500 for guests bringing mountain bikes). This is held until your departure as a caution against damage or breakages. In the winter season (13 Dec - 16 April) the cleaning is included in the price:the resot of the year there is a €50 end of stay cleaning charge - this goes directly to the cleaning team.
Once your booking is confirmed by Airbnb, I require that you complete a booking form, which will be sent to you by email within 24 hours of your booking being confirmed (once you have responded to my confirmation message with your email address). French short-term rental legislation requires that registered accommodation providers keep a record of all names of renters with their contact information. Failure to provide your email address or complete a booking form can result in cancellation of your booking.
Please note that if you are intending to bring a dog, you MUST ask us before booking, as we have certain conditions that you must agree to before you proceed to book. Be aware there is also a pet fee of €30 (to cover us in case there is additional cleaning required). If you book and then subsequently decide to bring a pet and you do not inform us we reserve the right to cancel your holiday.

Please note that we offer a lift pass ordering service: you order your passes through us (at a lower rate than you would pay at the lift pass office) and we will have them ready for you in the chalet when you arrive.
We also have partners in resort for ski and board hire - once you have booked we will send you the link to book online at a 20% discount. (you will also receive this discount as Mountain Highs' clients even if you walk in to the shop without pre-ordering).
We can help organise evening babysitting for you, or point you in the right direction for childcare companies if you want to have a nanny at the chalet during the daytime.
