Le Vieux Four – 3 bedrooms, sleeps 6. [Removed] />
Beautifully renovated to the highest specifications, this luxury chalet is perfect for 3 couples, with its 3 double bedrooms, and ample living space. It has been carefully designed to maximise light and use of space, and there are spectacular views in all directions – most notably of Nyon and Le Pleney.

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place.The chalet is elegant and welcoming, with underfloor heating on ground and first floors, and additional radiators upstairs. There’s smart low-level night lighting in all the bathrooms and a sound system connected throughout.

You can enter via the garage, straight into the boot room or come in at first floor level. The boot room has a wall mounted heated boot rack and a bespoke unit for storing all your outer snow and hiking gear. The ground floor also has the sauna, a double bedroom, shower room with wc, and utility room.

Up the stairs to the open plan first floor, with large comfy leather sofas, tv, additional wc, kitchen and outside sitting area. The kitchen has an island with 2 bar stools, so you can easily chat while cooking.

Up a few stairs to the dining area with a dining table seating 6, which can be extended to seat more. The dining area leads out via sliding pocket doors on to a sunny decked outdoor space for eating, drinking or just soaking up the views.

Up a flight of stairs to the remaining 2 bedrooms, each of which is ensuite – one with a bath (with shower attachment), one with a shower. Both bedrooms have small balconies.

The location is superb, at the bottom of Route des Udrezants. You’re only 250m from the excellent Carrefour supermarket, and a short walk from the many bars, restaurants and shops. During the winter, you can catch one of the free ski buses from the Place de l’Eglise (1 minute’s walk), to access Les Prodains, Nyon, Ardent and Le Pleney. In fact, this is an ideal place to stay without a car, but if you do drive, there is secure garage parking for 1 car.

All linen, 2 pillows and 2 towels per person are provided. Cleaning is not included except during the winter ski season and costs €90 extra, payable on arrival.

Great location, easy to gets to uplifts every morning and to restaurants in the evening. Well equipped, lots of space to store bikes and work on them when required. Nice friendly welcome from Isobelle (local manager). Clear instructions on how to get there and check. Rachel had sorted out our bike passes prior to arrival, making really easy to get riding

Absolutely amazing chalet within walking distance to the centre of Morzine. The chalet itself has been presented to an excellent standard with all the essentials we needed as our base accommodation. The bath was so deep which was great after a day of exploring. The sauna was another great bonus. The views from the chalet were amazing and the outside space was perfect for soaking up the views with a cup of coffee. The chalet is located 5 minutes walk from the supermarket and 15 minutes walk to the centre of Morzine. We were met by Isabelle who walked us through the chalet and showed us how everything worked and made us feel welcome. We had contact with Rachel before arriving and she was always friendly and helpful. Overall an amazing place which we can’t wait to return to!

My friends and I spent 4 nights in June in Chalet Le Vieux Four. Rachel's description in the listing ("beautifully renovated to the highest specifications, [...] has been carefully designed to maximise light and use of space" etc.) is maximally true. Really stylish, very well equipped and thought through to the smallest detail. The chalet, the location, the communication and everything else was perfect. The only thing we didn't like were the tiny beds (140cm wide), but everything else made up for it.

Racheal was a fanatic host! The communication was brilliant and always quick to respond. Was amazing that she sorted out out ski passes, so when we arrived they were ready and waiting in the table for us. This saved us a lot of time the next day and meant to could head straight to the slopes. The house was exactly as described and shown in the pictures! It was incredibly clean with all the necessary amenities you would what, plus more!! The storage was fantastic, and loved the boot room. The location was ideal, as close to many bus stops which took u straight to the different ski areas, and it was only a short walk to the centre of Morzine. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Perfect chalet for a group of 6, with great social space in the open plan kitchen/dining/living area. Well equipped kitchen. Chalet has been finished to a high standard. Response:Concernant le chauffage: les radiateurs dans les chambres et le chauffage au sol (partout dans le chalet) sont 100% réglables par les locataires. C'est bien précisé dans l'annonce qu'il y a des chaines de TV Britannique actuellement; des réception du decodeur Orange nous aurons egalement Orange TV. Et puis ce client n'a pas vraiment ete tres honnête dans ses commentaires, vu qu'il était ravi avec le chalet a son départ.

Hi! I'm British born but have now been living more of my life in France than in the UK, and this is now my home. I've been running Mountain Highs Self-Catered Chalets and Apartments in Morzine since 1995 and I live in a little village just 5 mins down the valley from Morzine, with my 2 daughters, our border collie Sydney and our cats Tina and Asha.
I enjoy downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter, and trekking, road biking and lake swimming in the summer, and reading and music whenever I get the time ;) I also love to travel and get to know new places...wish there was just more time to get to all the places I haven't been to yet!
Morzine and the Portes du Soleil are a wonderful place to choose for a holiday and I feel I am very lucky to live here all year round. I am very keen for everyone who stays in our properties to have a great holiday and I personally spend a lot of time communicating with each and every Mountain Highs client. Don't hesitate to ask me if you'd like information that you don't see in my listings. I speak French, English and Italian, and can just about communicate in Spanish too, have patience!

In order to confirm a booking, we will send you a Booking form link, and this must be completed within 48 Hours and you must make payment of the 25% booking deposit by credit or debit card or bank transfer (our bank details available on request)
Refundable Damage Deposit
- There is a Damage Deposit of €300 payable on arrival in Euros cash or cheque. (Or it can be paid up to 1 day before your arrival by credit / debit card and will be refunded to that card after your departure).
Notes
WINTER SEASON (14 Dec - 14 April): Linen, towels and end of stay cleaning are included in our rate. SUMMER SEASON AND REST OF YEAR: Linen, towels are included for the full duration of your stay. The end of stay cleaning is not included and costs €90 on arrival. DAMAGE DEPOSIT: We take a €300 Damage Deposit on arrival, either in Euros or Sterling cash, or in a UK or Euro cheque. We refund this deposit on your departure as long as we are able to check the chalet properly on your departure. If this is not possible (if you are leaving very early or very late) we will withhold the Damage deposit until we have received the keys back and have been able to check the property, and we will then return it to you by bank transfer. Please note the deposit rises to €500 for mountain biking groups.
