Quaint Beach Cottage, >50 Feet from Beach - Nags Head

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Cottage by the Sea is located in South Nags Head, in a quiet, family-oriented cottage court. The delightful sound of waves breaking on the beach is the background noise. A screened porch and sun-deck is on the oceanside for enjoying the sea and sun.

Cottage By The Sea is about 800 square feet in size, and sits on the dune-line at the seashore. Inside are juniper walls, central heat and air, and wireless internet. There are three bedrooms; the Captains Room has a queen bed, twin bed, and half-bath; the Shell bedroom with queen bed and childs bed; and the Lighthouse room has one queen bed. In the hallway is a full bath and high efficiency washer and dryer. The living room has a Lazy Boy recliner, cable tv with sports channels, and dvd player. The kitchen is well-equipped with dishes, cookware, and appliances. Underneath the cottage is room for parking and an outdoor shower with hot and cold running water. The cottage is elevated on the dune-line, but only 10 steps up. Near the steps is a park-style BBQ grill.

The property has stairs, which requires you to use, in order to access the cottage. Please note, there is sand underneath the house as well as sand on walking paths, streets, deck and patio.

The cottage has fresh linens and towels. I highly recommend you bring your own extra towels, blankets, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, cooking supplies, etc if you are particular. We have starters we do not supply everything.

On the cottage-court grounds are a sandy ocean-front beach, childrens playground, and swimming pool, which guests are welcome to use in season. No party groups please; this is a family-oriented setting.

A paved bicycle path leads from the cottage court to Jeanettes Pier.

Jeanettes pier is an 8 minute drive away, 22 minute bicycle ride.
Nags Head Outlets is an 8 minute drive away, 25 minute bicycle ride.
