my family really enjoyed our stay during Thanksgiving. Alecia and John's cottage is super comfortable and the surrounding is just amazingly beautiful. we enjoyed waking up to the lake view, soaking in the hottub under the starry nights, and the absolute tranquility of lake front cottage.

Home was just beautiful, inviting and unique! Beyond well appointed…kitchen has absolutely everything you could ever need. The history of the home makes you wish the walls could talk! We loved our stay, will definitely be back and also refer anyone traveling the area, especially in fall! The view from the yard of all the colors 🍁🍂 was perfect!

We had an amazing and relaxing stay at Alecia and John's cottage. The cottage was exactly as described in the listing and in the very comprehensive guide sent in advance of our stay. It was charming, unique, cozy, and comfortable. Definitely not a sterile hotel-room like rental, but very clean. The weather was great, so we spent most of our time on the screen porch but the master bedroom was very comfortable and the kitchen was really well appointed and had everything we needed. Location is great between Ludlow and Killington. Communication with Alecia was easy. We were grateful for the opportunity to bring our three dogs with us on the trip - they enjoyed the large back yard and lake. The hot tub and outdoor shower were an amazing plus. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a fantastic wknd at the cottage! The pictures don’t even do it justice - it’s SO charming with so many thoughtful touches. We loved how close it was to skiing, hiking, and some cute bars/restaurants. Alecia was super responsive and accommodating when we needed to reach out on a couple things. Highly recommend this lovely spot!

Alecia’s place was the coziest airbnb I have rented! I felt right at home and had ALL kitchen amenities you could imagine (5 different ways to make coffee!!!!) the hot tub was amazing after a day of skiing, and the huge wood pile for a cozy indoor fire was a nice touch. After a little initial blip of missed communication that we got worked out Alecia was very responsive. The house seems like such a fun spot for summer as well so if we find ourselves up that way we definitely will be staying again. Thanks for a great long weekend!

The Good Woods cottage was a delightful, relaxing and charming place to stay. Upon arrival, we were immediately enamored by the gorgeous property and lakefront view. The home itself is neat, well thought through and has all the amenities you could need for a perfect weekend getaway. There were thoughtful notes all over the property and lovely vintage and antique touches everywhere we looked. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked and the provided linens were quite lovely. Our family had a wonderful time and we look forward to coming back in the summer!

We had a wonderful time. Our trip was to see family for the holidays and do a little skiing nearby. Weather didn’t cooperate but we made the best of it. Alecia and John were only a phone call away to answer any questions we had and their home more than met our expectations. We would definitely book with them again to visit Vermont in the future.
