Green Cottage Departure Instructions

Check-Out Time

Check-out time is 10am. If you choose to leave earlier, we would appreciate you sending a text message when you're driving off. This will allow us to get in earlier, too, so we can prepare for our next guests. Susan's cell phone is 802-598-2871.

Check-out Check List

Please remember that the cottage should be left in broom-clean condition. Here's a check-list that you can refer to on check-out morning.

1. Please collect all used linens and towels and place in the laundry room basket.
2. Trash and recycle in the house should be collected and moved to the outside cans. Please be sure recycled items are clean. We don't use liners for the outdoor recycling cans. No plastic bags in recycling, please.
3. You can start a load of dishes in the dishwasher before you leave. I'll empty it before the next guests arrive.
4. Per our rental agreement, the house should be in the state as when you arrived.
5. Please remember to take your power cords home with you.
6. We would love to read about your stay in our Guest Book located on the desk in the Great Room. If you have a moment please leave a message.
7. Please take a moment soon after you get home to provide us your review that we can post on our Web site. Google reviews are also very much appreciated.

After You Get Home

Your security/damage deposit will be returned to you in the manner it was received assuming that there was no reason for us to retain the deposit. We expect that you'll have the check or reversal on your credit card within a week of check-out. If not, please contact Susan to ensure we don't lose track.
