Wonder Lodge is in the quiet, residential neighborhood of Lower Moonridge. It is in a perfect location just a few minutes from the lake, zoo, golf course, hiking trials, ski resort, and the brand new Moonridge Corridor. You can even walk to the overflow lot for Big Bear Mountain rather than pay for parking. The home is also close to Big Bear Village as well as shopping, restaurants, and recreational activities along Big Bear Boulevard.
A car is recommended to get to and around Big Bear. There is a ample free parking available at the Wonder Lodge. Additionally, Mountain Transits Free Big Bear Trolley service is a short walk away from the cabin and offers convenient and reliable transportation to get around town.
Did we say centrally located! Our Wonder Lodge is in a great spot to use as your base of operations to explore all that Big Bear has to offer. National park, ski resorts, zoo, lake, downtown, dining, hiking, etc. are all minutes away.

Check in instructions will be sent 24 hours prior to check-in. This cabin utilizes a smart lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter. The code is reset after each guest's stay.

City of Big Bear Lake Good Neighbor Policy
- You and other Occupants agree to conduct yourselves throughout your stay in a manner that is respectful of and not disruptive to neighbors, traffic flow, or the community and that will not prompt complaints from police or neighbors.
- Guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
- Do not exceed the occupancy limit at any time during your stay. The maximum occupancy is 10 guests (including adults and children). NO PARTIES ALLOWED.
- Parking is only permitted in the driveway. This includes trailers. The maximum number of vehicles permitted is 4. Also, we share our driveway with our neighbors on either side. Please park your vehicle(s) in the two spots to the left that are closest to our cabin wall and/or the two spots directly in front of the Wonder Lodge sign on our front deck.
- Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Close your windows to avoid music carrying beyond the property line.
- Noisy outdoor activities and spa use are prohibited from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
-2 dog(s), weighing 25lbs or less, are welcome in our home ($45 pet cleaning fee applies). No other animals are allowed without prior approval. When you leave our home, please take your dog with you so they do not disturb surrounding neighbors. You will find that Big Bear Lake is very dog-friendly!
- Trash needs to be taken to a local dumpsite. Clean Bear locations:
41970 Garstin Drive & 39690 Big Bear Blvd.
- The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. A second offense is $1000 per violation. Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations will be evicted without a refund.
- You are responsible for ALL fines if Big Bear Lake Code Compliance is called due to noise, excessive occupancy/cars, parking violations or other disturbance at the home. You are also responsible for $250 payment to 24/7 local contact if called to the home for disturbance complaints.
House Rules and Guidelines
- Please treat the Property with the same care you would use with your own residence and leave it in the same condition it was in when you arrived.
- Remove your shoes before entering the home to avoid sap, mud, and excess water on floors
- Do not cut on wood or counter tops – please use cutting boards provided
- Do not put hot pots or pans on counter tops or wood tables/dining table
- To prevent theft of or damage to furnishings or your personal property, you agree to close and lock doors and windows when you are not present at the Property and upon check-out.
- No smoking is permitted at the Property (including indoors, porches, decks or outdoor areas) at any time.
- No commercial photography or filming is permitted on the property. Tents or other structures may not be erected.
- Renter is liable for any damage to the property and agrees to accept charges to the card on file should damage occur during occupancy.
- You agree that your use of the Property is on a temporary and transient basis only; that you may not use the Property as a permanent residence; and that your permanent residence is and will remain elsewhere than at the Property.
- This property is equipped with an Ok2Charge Level 2 EV charging station. Please inquire for activation information.
- Please shut off propane tank on BBQ when not in use and before check out.
- Please turn off fans, lights, and portable heaters when not in use and before check out.
- For your convenience, there is an on-site washer and dryer. Please only wash SMALL loads, as the washer and dryer do not do well with large loads.
