Please do not prop either screen door open. Doing so allows birds and other larger animals to enter, get trapped inside, and possibly enter the home. It can also create safety concerns for your guests or encourage others to enter un-welcomed.
Though the backyard appears fenced it is NOT fully fenced. At present, there are no gates enclosing the yard at either the North or the South ends of the yard.
The palmed hedge to the West provides immediate privacy but be aware that it is possible to potentially see or be seen by others next door to the West.

We are located in the Pelican neighborhood which is very quite and very close to local favorites such as Cape Harbour and Tarpon Pointe and all the great dining options in between. Downtown and the Boathouse or Matlacha. Just 15 minutes or less and you are there. Traffic dependent on the time of year you visit.
Due to the canals unique to Cape Coral there are no short-cuts. Using your GPS and sticking to the main streets is the most expeditious way to travel. Biking is big. There is a bike rental shop in Cape Harbour - 2 miles from Pelican and Palm. We have a link to the local biking trail map - upon inquiry.
➤ We use SUPERHOG as part of our guest screening process. Your SUPERHOG application must match the primary guest name on the reservation, and ALL background checks must be completed within 48 hours. Your booking is NOT confirmed until these requirements have been fulfilled.
Once the reservation is confirmed and prior to check-in, all guests must acknowledge and agree to the following:

* to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-in.

➤ Check-In/Out Details: Easy self-check-in with a Schlage encode smart lock. Check in after 4 PM and check out by 10 AM. Before leaving, please take out your garbage, wash any dishes, and lock the doors.
➤ The max occupancy is 8.
➤ The minimum age to book a reservation is 25.
➤ Day visitors are OK but must not stay overnight. Theres a $250 per person fine for overnight guests over the max occupancy.
➤ Cleaning fees are a pass-through fee, meaning the entire amount goes to our cleaning team! We cannot provide any level of service without them and choose to fully compensate them for their service.
➤ Though the house and yard are NOT fully pet friendly, we do allow pets to join your stay.
We provide a bowl for food and a bowl for water and a small fleece blanket that is yours to keep. PLEASE REVIEW THE HOUSE RULES AND ESPECIALLY THOSE REGARDING PETS ON PREMISE.

Wildlife is prevalent season-to-season. Clusters of large birds such as Egrets snack on snails in the yard, rabbits on our lawns, and frogs and lizards scurry about from the driveway to the back patio. The protected Burrowing Owls nest just across the street. After dark, you may see one or two perched upon mailbox post and often they can be found on the street hunting. Please drive with caution should you notice dark images on the streets at night. The neighborhood streets are not often illuminated like the main streets are.

We are located in the Pelican neighborhood which is very quite and very close to local favorites such as Cape Harbour and Tarpon Pointe and all the great dining options in between. Downtown and the Boathouse or Matlacha. Just 15 minutes or less and you are there. Traffic dependent on the time of year you visit.
Due to the canals unique to Cape Coral there are no short-cuts. Using your GPS and sticking to the main streets is the most expeditious way to travel. Biking is big. There is a bike rental shop in Cape Harbour - 2 miles from Pelican and Palm. We have a link to the local biking trail map - upon inquiry.

There is parking and it is free. There is a standard driveway. And street/lawn parking. We recommend parking just off the street and on the lawn whether directly out front of the home or in the vacant lots across the street. The area across the street used to be a protected area for burrowing owls - up until Hurricane Ian. The house is on a bit of a high spot for the neighborhood - so the drive is not level or flat.

Getting around
Cape Coral is called the Venice of America and the Waterfront Wonderland for one reason....there are 400 miles of canals that are the foundation of this unique community. And, because there is so many canals, there are no short cuts for driving anywhere really. I love a backroad to skirt traffic. Not is Cape Coral. Trust your GPS and stick to it. That's our best advice. During Season, or the Winter months, traffic will be much different than during the off-season. Distances don't change drive times will indeed.
