β’ Guests have access to the main level, outdoor deck/porch, and surrounding property. Although the owners wont be present during your stay, the lower level is reserved for them. We kindly ask guests to respect their privacy and avoid entering that space.
β’ Please be aware that this mountain retreat does not have air conditioning, as it benefits from the cooler temperatures of its elevated location. However, ceiling fan and a radiant heat system ensure comfort throughout the seasons.
β’ We are limited to satellite internet, which means there is just not enough bandwidth to stream anything. We pay for the best Wi-Fi available, and its still not good enough. Its our only internet option here for now.

β’ Guests must have a 4-wheel drive vehicle equipped with snow-capable tires. Rear-wheel-drive vehicles are not recommended.
β’ While the road to the cabin is regularly plowed, guests may need to clear the walkway and parking area themselves.
π· Please note that we have installed a single exterior camera facing the deck/shed to ensure the safety and security of both our guests and the property. There are no cameras inside the property. Our cameras are motion-activated and recordings are stored in the cloud. There is also a noise detection device installed at the cabin, but it is no longer active. Do not unplug or tamper with any security devices, including the Ring Camera, or any other essential devices.

- ABOUT OUR BOOKING REQUIREMENTS -
π Rental Agreement & Government ID:
Our insurance company requires a clear definition of the guest-host relationship, hence the need for a rental agreement. This agreement confirms the terms between our guests and our company. The signer of the rental agreement must match the government ID provided.
π³ Security Deposit:
A security deposit hold of $500 is required for all reservations. It is a temporary hold on the card processed by Stripe, a widely trusted credit card processor. This hold will take place 2 days before your arrival and will be released 2 days after your departure, provided that the property is left in good condition and the house rules are followed.
β These requirements are standard for all our properties and are part of our commitment to maintaining the properties we manage on behalf of our owners. They provide assurance to our property owners and protect us from situations where damage caused by guests may not be adequately covered by platform protections.
