The damage deposit is collected no later than 7 days before check in, in order housing. A signed lease is required. Damage deposit will be refunded typically by 14 days, however, if significant damage is found, it could be up to 21 days to obtain quotes for work. While this isn't a usual occurrence, it has happened once in 5 years.

Smoking is NOT allowed in the house, front porch or at the property, out of respect my neighbors. Violation of this house rule will result in a cancellation of your stay.
I don't allow cats due to allergies. Dogs will be considered.
Excessive noise will not be tolerated and will result in your stay being cancelled.
You will be responsible for negligent damage as a result of your stay.
House is private but not secluded as this is in a city neighborhood with small lots.

The house is .5 miles to BART, the public transit system of the bay area. And less than .5 mile to hwys 80 and 580. I ask you to respect quiet hours after 11.

This is a friendly, diverse, working class, eclectic neighborhood with folks who have been here for many years. This is a home I live in when in the Bay Area. I ask you to please be gentle with it and treat it like your own. There is a deck and small backyard to get some fresh air and sun.
