Enjoy your beach vacation at In the Wind, a spacious 4-bedroom home in the Dolphin Run community located in the Village at Nags Head. Perfect for guests who dont wish to climb 3-floors, the house has a ground-level second master w/ private entrance, mini-split HVAC, and interior access to the main-living area.

Enjoy your day at the beach (only 200 ft from the front door) or reclining by the Village at Nags Head Beach Club Pool (open daily through Labor Day).
Come back to the house and watch the sunset from the top decks, soak in the hot tub, or watch a movie on the 55 TV. Active guests may choose to play tennis at the Village Beach Club, exercise on the 14-mile multi-use path, do a bike tour, or play a round of golf at Nags Head Golf Links.

Guests also have access to any of two sound front parks complete with pier, seating, and kayak launch (closest is only a 1/2 mile walk).

*No pets, events, or parties. In the Wind does not host group stays such as fishing charters, bachelor/bachelorette/weddings, or reunions. We want you to have a relaxed vacation in a well-cared for home.

Only interested in renting to families and couples. Groups of 8 or more will need to provide identities for each guests. No extra guests allowed without prior approval. Failure to gain permission will result in a violation of rental agreement and removal from property with no refund.

Payment Policy

Refundable Damage Deposit

Damage covers breakage or damage/stains, etc that require excess cleaning or replacement. Damage deposit also covers excessive cleanup fee, if charged by cleaning crew. Fee will be refunded upon checkout and assessment by cleaning crew.

Cancellation Policy

100% refund if cancelled 30-days prior to arrival
50% refund if cancelled 15-29 days prior to arrival
25% refund if cancelled 7-14 days prior to arrival
0% refund afterwards
