We live in Chesapeake Virginia and fell in love with OBX when we first arrived from the UK 12 years ago with our 3 children. Avid golfers and an active family meant that The Village was the perfect location for us to have a beach house. We have created a space that is warm and welcoming, comfortable with a luxury feel, with a hint of beach and golf life. We desire that you enjoy the home and everything that OBX has to offer during your stay.

Policies and Rules

Check In: Flexible

The smart-lock code will activate at your check-in time (not before unless requested/agreed) and will be the last 4 digits of the phone number made with this booking followed by a #. Press any digit to light keypad, input numbers slowly, a beep will sound, then input #. Door will announce 'unlocked' - use bottom knob (not the one under the keypad) - twist and pull towards you a little, then push open

No pets

Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis. A pet fee of $150 per dog, will be added to your booking if we agree to host your dog/s (max 2), and a pre-paid damage deposit of $200 will be returned after your stay if our cleaners and inspector report no damage.

Minimum age limit for renters: 25

No parties under the age of 25 are permitted to book. Person booking must be in attendance.

Maximum occupancy: 4

House Rules

No groups over the number on the booking at any time. You must be 25 years or older to rent. No unattended minors allowed or third-party bookings. Dogs must be housebroken, and we ask that you do not allow them access to the bedrooms, just the main living areas. Please keep the dog covers on the sofas. Also, clean up waste on the property grounds, and dispose of it in the outdoor trash bins, for your dog. We have a lot of golfers who wander through the yard to find their golf balls, and we do not wish them to step into anything unpleasant. Dogs must be on a leash outside the property and supervised at all times. Dogs are not allowed to stay in the property for extended periods unsupervised, please ensure you take the animal with you or return at regular intervals. A refundable deposit of $150 per dog is required at the time of booking, this will be returned to you after satisfactory inspection of the property by our property inspector and cleaning team. We will send out a short questionnaire about your dog and will require agreement to the pet rules. Please ensure you empty all trash into the trash cans under the property on exiting. Please place all towels and bathmats in the bathrooms. Turn off lights. Please ensure all kitchen utensils and crockery/pots etc are clean and put away, run the dishwasher the night before so you are not leaving it full to be emptied.
