Traditional shotgun double in fantastic Mid-City location where Treme meets Bayou St. John! Bright, clean and comfortable 5 room shotgun with easy access to the Fairgrounds/Jazz Fest, French Quarter, Lafitte Greenway and more. Blue bikes and public transportation make the rest of the city easily accessible too. Food (amazing food) and fun (so much fun) in every direction.

New Orleans STR license number:18STR-06025The apartment is bright, spacious and recently renovated, including new AC in 2020. Its a traditional shotgun home, which is a distinctive New Orleans style of architecture designed to maximize space and air flow by stacking rooms (no hallways). When you open the front door, you will find an uncluttered living space, with a pull-out sofa bed and two chairs, as well as TV with Roku. This room opens into the first bedroom, with full size bed and Roku TV. The first bedroom opens into the second bedroom where you have a queen bed with cool gel memory foam mattress. The second bedroom opens into the dining room, where there is room for a queen air mattress if needed. The dining room opens into the kitchen, at the back of the kitchen is the bathroom, newly renovated with a walk-in shower. This traditional shotgun home floor plan, along with high ceilings and ceiling fans, allows for good air flow but not a lot of privacy :-) It should be obvious from the pictures, but please also note that the bathroom is quite small. While the space can accommodate 5 guests easily, I cannot guarantee that there will be sufficient hot water for so many showers in a row. Please take this into consideration if you are a large group. The kitchen is outfitted with a full size fridge, toaster oven, microwave, hot plate and kettle. And coffee maker, of course! There is no stove or dishwasher. A hair dryer and clothes iron are also provided.

Theres not much in the way of a backyard but I do have a new deck behind the house that guests are welcome to use.
