Cristallo Apartment On Sea Shore - Avola

An ideal seaside destination for people of all ages, this airy apartment, with a spacious private balcony makes the perfect base for a great vacation.

The property, which sleeps 3 people, is on the second floor (with lift) of an elegant residence, equipped with a full spa and fitness centre. The open plan living area has a large glass door which leads out to the semi-shaded balcony with a table and chairs where guests can relax and enjoy an aperitivo al fresco. Inside there is a sofa, with a flatscreen TV, an attractive dining table for 4 people and the fitted kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer and a coffee machine.

Bedroom 1: A spacious bedroom with a double bed, a large wardrobe, flatscreen TV and a glass door leading out to the balcony.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed.

Bathroom
The independent bathroom, with stylish tiling, has a large shower, basin, bidet and WC.

Location
The residence is on the edge of the charming town of Avola. The town is steeped in history, its old town – the Antico Borgo, is well-known for its Baroque buildings, Greek and Roman remains and pretty, cobbled streets. The newer parts of town have much to offer, in terms of shops, amenities and excellent restaurants serving local specialities. It is a lively destination, popular with families and young people alike. The town’s clean, wide beaches with crystal clear sea are another attraction.

The famous red wine, Nero d’Avola, takes its name from the town and there are many cantine (wine cellars) where visitors can try the different varieties and decide which to take home.

For people who want a day in the countryside, then a trip to the Riserva Naturale di Cava Grande del Cassibile (30 minute drive) is a great option. This nature reserve has a deep river gorge, known as Sicily’s Grand Canyon, which is up to 250m deep. The river at the bottom has created a series of clear, rock pools where visitors can enjoy a swim. The reserve is also home to a peaceful beach, Gelsomineto Oasis Beach, which is a quiet alternative seaside option.

Catania’s international airport is a 1 hour drive from the apartment.
