A bright, ground floor apartment, just a few steps from a gorgeous, wide beach, with sparkling sea, makes the ideal holiday destination.

The apartment sleeps 4 people, and is in an elegant residence, which is well-equipped with a full spa and fitness center. The private entrance, just off the seafront, leads through the courtyard into an airy living area. Guests can relax at the table in the courtyard and enjoy a drink or cup of coffee al fresco. Inside in the open-plan sitting room there is a sofa, with a flatscreen TV, an attractive dining table for 4 people and the neat, fitted kitchen. The kitchen has a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer and a coffee machine.

Bedroom 1: A spacious bedroom with a double bed, large wardrobe, flatscreen TV and a glass door leading out to the balcony.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed.

Location
On the Ionian coast, south of Syracuse, Avola is a popular and lively holiday destination. The town has everything for families and young people: beautiful beaches with clean sea, a fascinating history, lovely Baroque architecture and an enthusiastic appreciation of local food and wine. The famous red wine, Nero d’Avola, takes its name from the town and there are numerous festivals celebrating regional delicacies. These vary from the festival for almonds, to celebrations around wild boar, tuna and even swordfish. An excellent excuse for a feast throughout the year.

For people who want a day in the countryside, then a trip to the Riserva Naturale di Cava Grande del Cassibile (30 minute drive) is a great option. This nature reserve has a deep river gorge, known as Sicily’s Grand Canyon, which is up to 250m deep.

Catania’s international airport is a 1 hour drive from the apartment.
