More information by the provider: The village of Amden lies high above the Walensee in the Canton of St. Gallen in eastern Switzerland. The Sunnerösli apartment is on the top floor of its building in a beautiful panoramic position, above the center of the village of Amden, directly on the road heading to Arvenbüel. Located on the second upstairs floor of the building, this charming apartment offers space for a maximum of 4 people. The apartment was newly renovated in 2020. From both the apartment and the garden for shared use, you will enjoy wonderful views of the mountains and the nearby lake, the Walensee. The nearest bus stop Amden, Mennweg is 90 meters from the house. The village center of Amden with its shops, restaurants, the indoor swimming pool, the Mattstock chairlift and the center of Arvenbüel with its skiing and hiking area can all be reached by car or bus in about 5 to 10 minutes. There is one parking space in front of the house. Amden is located on a sunny plateau above the emerald-blue Walensee. There are a number of leisure activities that you can pursue here both in summer and in winter. In winter, the family-friendly ski area offers ski slopes, winter hiking and snowshoeing trails and a toboggan run. In summer and autumn, you can go on wonderful hiking tours in the mountains around Amden. In addition, the Walensee offers many swimming opportunities in summer. Our tip: a hike from Amden down to Betlis. A swimming beach and cozy fire pits await on the lakeshore. From there you can also start a great boat trip on the Walensee. Amden is very centrally located. In less than an hours drive, you can reach the rose city of Rapperswil as well as Zurich, Chur, or Glarus. Tram Rehalp 48.6 km, bus stop Mennweg 0.1 km, railway station Mühlehorn 3.8 km, ferry Betlis 1.8 km.

If you book your holiday house or apartment less then 43 days prior to your arrival date, you will have to pay the total rental cost immediately.

Refundable Damage Deposit
The key holder is entitled to ask for a deposit. You will find the deposit amount in the cost overview on the object detail page of the holiday house or the apartment as well as on your booking confirmation.
The deposit can be paid by credit card or cash (as mentioned on your booking confirmation). It is necessary to pay the deposit otherwise you will not receive your key. Please note that at some locations the only option is cash payment.
What happens to my breakage deposit?
The deposit is a security retainer and will be refunded upon proper return of the rental property. The deposit will either be refunded to your bank account or received directly from the keyholder if you paid in cash. For a refund of the deposit to your bank account, always leave your IBAN- and BIC-code with the keyholder.
