Overlooking the popular Pantanello Beach and the sparkling Ionian Sea, this contemporary apartment for 6, is an ideal holiday destination for people looking for a great vacation.

The apartment is on the second floor (with a lift) of a charming residence, which is well-equipped with a full spa and fitness centre. The apartment is very light and sunny. The living area has a glass door which leads out to a spacious private balcony, looking directly over the sea. The table and chairs on the balcony give guests a relaxing outdoor space where they can enjoy a drink or cup of coffee. In the open-plan sitting room, there is a sofa, with a flat-screen TV, an attractive dining table for 4 people and a neat, fitted kitchen. The kitchen has a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer and coffee machine.

Bedroom 1: A spacious bedroom with a double bed, a large wardrobe, flatscreen TV and a glass door leading out to the balcony.
Bedroom 2: This airy bedroom has 2 single beds, a flat-screen TV and an ample wardrobe.

Location
The popular town of Avola has everything families and young people need for the perfect holiday: wide beaches with sparkling sea, fascinating history, lovely Baroque architecture plus delicious local food and wine. The famous red wine, Nero d’Avola, takes its name from the town and there are numerous festivals celebrating regional delicacies. These vary from the festival for almonds, to celebrations of wild boar, tuna and even swordfish. An excellent excuse for a feast throughout the year. The town has all the amenities visitors need including banks, shops and good restaurants.

For people who want a day in the countryside, then a trip to the Riserva Naturale di Cava Grande del Cassibile (a 30-minute drive) is a great option. This protected area has a deep river gorge, known as Sicily’s Grand Canyon, which is up to 250m deep. The river at the bottom has created a series of clear, rock pools where visitors can enjoy a swim. The reserve is also home to a peaceful beach, Gelsomineto Oasis Beach, which is a quiet alternative. Catania’s international airport is a 1 hour drive from the apartment.
