Hello! I manage Grandfather's Shadow Cabin for my mother.  My parents purchased the cabin in 2007 and have loved it since.  I am not a stranger to the mountains of NC.  I spent my first Christmas just down the street from Grandfather's Shadow.  My grandparents lived just up the mountain in Mill Ridge for years. I spent many summers with my siblings and cousins making trails through the woods of Mill Ridge.  I am most at peace in the mountains.  I sincerely hope you will be too when you stay at our cabin.  <br />
I currently live in North GA in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and my mom lives just outside of Atlanta.  We have good contacts and help in the Banner Elk area if you are in need of help.  So rest assured that you will enjoy your time in the mountains.
