What's Provided For You?
- Linens, pillows and blankets for the beds. There are some extra pillows and blankets.
- Six bath towels, minimally. At least one hand towel and washcloth in each bath.
- Sufficient paper products for your stay (if rental period is two weeks or less). This includes paper towels, facial tissues, toilet paper, and napkins.
- Dishwasher tablets, dish soap, dish cloths, dish towels, kitchen trash bags and a fresh kitchen sponge. I often leave a packaged sponge as well as a washed reusable sponge.
- A variety of spices as well as salt and pepper.
- Liquid hand soap, bar soap, and shampoo. Hair conditioner in the master shower.
- Cleaning products and spray air fresheners.
- Vinegar, vegetable oil and cooking spray.
- Some sugar (enough for your morning coffee.)
- There is a Keurig machine. You will need to supply your own K-cups.
- Coffee pot brewer with paper coffee filters and built-in coffee bean grinder.
- Our tap water is from the public water service. There is no fluoridation in our water system. I also believe that there is no chlorine in the water -- the water is cleaned by a carbon filtration system. You can drink from the tap or grab a cold glass of water through the refrigerator door filter system.
- There are a few LED outlet night lights in the house.
- There is a washer and dryer. I do NOT stock HE laundry detergents, bleach, fabric softeners or dryer sheets. However, if previous guests leave their supplies at the cottage, they will remain for future guests to use.
- Propane for the gas grill. If you run out of fuel, please let Susan or Andy know. We have spares on hand. We prefer that you close the tank valve when not using the grill. Please remember that the lid should be open when you start the burners. Please do not move the grill from its set location.
- Firewood and matches. The firewood is stacked near the fire pit. Please do not stack extra wood on the grass/lawn. The matches are in a drawer to the left of the kitchen island sink.
