If the idea of rocking the seas in a fishing charter doesn't sit well with your stomach, then just get to the Fort Myers Beach Pier. You'll enjoy a steady footing when fishing off the Pier. It's only about 3/4 mile away from our Beach Delight vacation rental. Walk the beach, ride the free beach tram or cruise on your bike and you'll be there in no time.

Rudy’s Treasure Chest on the Pier has you covered. The Pier is licensed so you don't need to buy your own fishing license. All you need to do is rent your pole and buy your bait conveniently available at Rudy's. They open every morning at 9am, weather permitting, and close at 9pm or 10pm.

The Pier fishing rules are pretty basic - practice good sportsmanship. But the first rule they list on their rules sign - "No SHARK FISHING". I'm OK with that rule!
