I have been coming to St. Simons for almost 20 years now and knew I would want to one day, retire on the Island. There is a small town feel to SSI that is unsurpassed and after living in the hard-charging corporate world the majority of my life, collecting sea shells on the beach was pretty attractive. I love the history of the Island and the myriad of stories you will hear from the 'old timers'. I love being able to bike just about everywhere and the friendliness of the Island people.
