I am in my late 50's and have been visiting Captiva since the mid 70's. I work in a hospital's Biomedical Engineering department in South Georgia about 60 miles north of the Florida state line. My wife and I have been married for over 30 years. Many in our family, including us, have honeymooned on Captiva. I pride myself in making sure a potential guest knows everything possible about my property before booking. I don't want my guests to have any unpleasant surprises during their stay. While I don't believe that any vacation can be perfect, properties can and should be excellent. The majority of the reviews that I receive are 5 out of 5 stars. That is because I can offer excellent accommodations, and its obvious that I can't provide for a perfect vacation.
