Pawleys Island
The 4th of July Parade in Pawleys Island will start at 10 a.m.
Salute from the Shore is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Military aircraft will fly down the South Carolina coast. Pawleys Island is always a prime viewing spot for the event.
The 4th of July Evening Celebration, will take place from 6 until 8 p.m., inside the Precious Blood of Christ Parish Life Center, 1633 Waverly Road, Pawleys Island. This event is free and doors open at 5 p.m. Featuring the Pawleys Island Concert Band, the event will include singing, readings and recognition of veterans and first responders. Hot dogs, hamburgers and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
Murrells Inlet
The 4th of July boat parade is scheduled to start at noon. This year's theme is "Anchors Aweigh God Bless the USA." The Murrells Inlet Marshwalk is a great spot to watch the parade. Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. at the Marshwalk.
Garden City
The annual Garden City Golf Cart Parade begins at its usual time of 2 p.m. It is a "wet parade," meaning you could get wet!
Market Common
The Independence Day 5K and 8K race begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Market Common. Registration begins at 6 a.m. at the start line at Valor Park. Online registration and race information is available at www.marketcommonmb.com/events

Georgetown
The Kaminski House Museum on Front Street in Georgetown will host the annual Fourth of July Indigo Choral Society concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. on the lawn of the historic home. The concert is free.
