Zen Getaway - Heated Pool, King Bed, near Kierland - Scottsdale

My husband and I set out to create our dream vacation home here under the Arizona sun, and we infused it with every thoughtful touch and detail we could want for. Now we’d like to share it with you!

Here for golf? We are within 15 minutes of 4 premiere golf courses, including TPC Scottsdale (home of the annual Waste Management Golf Tournament), McCormick Ranch Golf Course, West Kierland Golf Club, and Camelback Golf Club

Whether you’re staying for a long weekend or several months, this upscale 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home features two master suites, both with adjoining Jack and Jill bathrooms and 40” TVs. A third bedroom features two twin-XL beds, and all bedrooms offer a choice of firm or soft pillows, not to mention white-noise machines to lull you to sleep. Get the temperature perfect with central air / heat plus remote controlled ceiling fans in every bedroom.

Open the sliding back door onto your expansive 5000 sqft outdoor living space. Float away in your sparkling private pool (heated Oct-April at no additional charge), or lay out under the sun in reclining lounge chairs. Let Fido play in the oversized backyard (fully fenced) with grassy area. Doggy toys provided along with indoor dog bed.

On a workcation? Be productive in two working spaces with desks, office chairs, 250 Mbps wifi, and laser printer. Plenty of extra outlets and USB ports in the main living space and on all nightstands. But don’t work too much! Sign off early and kick back on the comfy sectional in the main living space to watch a flick on the 50” flat screen (DVD player included), then pause to whip up a snack in the fully-stocked chef’s kitchen with top-end appliances, Cuisinart cookware, air-fryer, Ninja blender, Keurig, and more.

On a perfect Arizona evening, head outside to make dinner on the Weber grill, then serve it on the 6-place outdoor dining set. After reveling under a painted-sky sunset, lay back in the Adirondacks around the fire pit for s’mores, or curl up to chat on the patio sectional under the soft glow of string-lights.

HOUSE RULES - PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING

PARTIES
★ This quiet, family-friendly neighborhood is extremely sensitive to noise. Parties or events will not be tolerated.
★ Maximum occupancy is 6 pre-registered guests, 2 additional daytime visitors with pre-approval.
★ Scottsdale law mandates quiet hours after 10 pm.

FEES
★ Non-refundable pet fee of $75 per dog
★ $200 penalty per undisclosed pet

CHILDREN
★ No children under 9 allowed due to lack of pool fence

PETS
★ Dogs only, limit 2 strict limit under 40 lbs
★ Short-haired breeds only
(Shedding is otherwise unmanageable)
★ No aggressive dogs
★ No cats or other types of pets
★ Use provided pet blankets to minimize hair on furniture, especially bedding
★ Extra cleaning fees may be assessed if excessive pet hair removal is required.

POOL
★ We cannot guarantee pool will reach target temperature (84 degrees) on the colder days. For this reason, we dont charge an extra fee.
★ Pool is not heated mid-late May through late September.
★ Do not attempt to adjust the pool temperature or other settings on your own, please contact us
★We highly recommend the use of provided pool cover in winter (video instructions will be provided)
★ Guest is responsible for pool cover removal, replacement, and safety of pets and children

RENTAL AGREEMENT
★ A rental agreement is required for bookings of 30 days or longer and is to be signed by all parties on the reservation.

GENERAL
★ No smoking indoors or outdoors
★ No indoor vaping
★ No fireworks
★ Must be at least 25 years old to book
★ No confetti or glitter decorations, Scotch tape or blue painters tape only
★By default, the thermostat goes no lower than 69 degrees to prevent damage to AC coils. If you are uncomfortable please let us know and we can make exceptions upon request.

NOTE: Guests who break the house rules may be evicted and held liable for all damages, repairs, fines, fees, and legal costs incurred.

SECURITY
★ Your safety matters. There are 4 security cameras recording audio and video, one located at the front door, one inside the garage, one at the back yard gate, and one at the back patio door. All are aimed to capture entrances and none look into any interior spaces. These are monitored to ensure that only authorized guests and service providers are on the property. Backyard patio camera can be disabled upon request 24 hours after arrival.

GUEST ACCESS
★ Guests have access to the entire property except one locked owners cabinet in the garage.

Other things to note
FIRES: Note that indoor and outdoor fires are prohibited in Maricopa county from May 1 through Sept 30 due to the extreme heat and dryness.

POOL HEATER: While we have a pool heater, during the winter months, we recommend using our pool cover at night if you want to keep the pool as warm as possible. We cannot guarantee the pool will reach full temperature on the colder days. Target temperature is set for 82 degrees. If it gets below 50 degrees at night, it is unlikely the heater will be able to get the pool to that temperature. Pool is not heated mid-late May through late September.

SECURITY CAMERAS: Your safety matters. There are 4 security cameras recording audio/video: One located at the front door, one inside the garage, one at the back yard gate, and one at the back patio door. All are aimed to capture entrances and none look into any interior spaces. Rest assured, we only use these to ensure that authorized guests and service providers are on the property, and for security purposes. We have noise monitoring devices inside and outside the home to alert us to levels of volume that would disturb neighbors. They cannot record conversations nor allow us to listen in.
