This spectacular 3 bedroom, with 3 king beds, 3 bathrooms, Smoky Mountain cabin is an amazing place to spend your next vacation getaway. This charming and cozy cabin has everything you need for the perfect relaxing getaway!
A convenient location just outside of downtown, youll have quick access to all of the great attractions, restaurants, shopping and entertainment options the area is famous for. Youll also be within minutes of the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains!
As soon as you enter On Top of the World, you are mesmerized by the beautiful tongue and groove natural wood accents that surround you.
The main living area features a smart T.V., comfy furnishings and decor, a cozy fireplace and a cathedral ceiling for additional space and comfort. Enjoy a game of pool or choose one of the 10 games on the Ms. Pac-Man two person arcade game.
Located directly behind the expansive living room is the pool table and arcade game. Spend quality time with your family and friends and challenge each other to a fun and exciting game of pool or Pac-man.
Nearby you will find the well-equipped kitchen. Youll love being able to cook, prepare your favorite meals while on vacation in the Smoky Mountains. Theres also a dining table that comfortably seats eight people.
The comfortable and relaxing king master suite is entirely dedicated to the upper level. Heres where youll be able to catch up on some much needed R&R while staying in this Gatlinburg cabin getaway. The master bedroom also features a smart t.v., an in-suite full bath for added privacy and convenience.
Venture downstairs and youll find additional king suite bedroom and king master suit that are separated by a full bath.
While staying at this beautiful cabin getaway, youll have plenty of chances to take in the gorgeous Smoky Mountain views. With three levels of covered decks, you and your guests will have plenty of space to relax and take in the scenery. The lower level deck features seating and the bubbling outdoor 4 person hot tub while the main level deck offers a gas grill, rocking chairs, bench, and additional seating for your family and friends; upper level deck offers more sitting area that accessible only from the master bedroom on the upper level.
For added convenience, On Top of the World offers high-speed internet access throughout the cabin up to 400mbps.
Club House Amenities
In the warmer months, be sure to pack the sunscreen, bathing suits, and pool toys because youll have access to club house. Club house is typically open Memorial Day through Labor Day. We are not responsible for closures.
Guests can access the entire property except the owners closet in bedroom #3 and mechanical space. There is an additional garment rack in bedroom #3 for hanging space.
I am available for non-emergent questions or concerns 10am-8pm. Call me anytime for emergencies.
During pool season you will have access to 3 pools within the resort. The pool season is from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Community pool access is provided and managed through a third party company. We are not responsible for maintenance or pool closures. The pool is typically open Memorial Day through Labor Day. The owners access pass for the resort is hanging in the kitchen. Make sure the card is returned to its place. If you lose the card you will be charged $30 for a new one.
1. The North Clubhouse: This clubhouse is closest to the cabin. Just a turn left out of the driveway and a quick drive up the street.
The North clubhouse offers three swimming pools, lighted tennis courts, paved walking trail, ping pong, foosball, and assorted yard games. Drinks and concessions are available for purchase and you are welcome to bring your own as long as you do not have glass containers. North Clubhouse has been fully restored since the 2016 wildfires that swept through the Smoky Mountains and we now have new views of the mountains that had previously not been available before. The new views are gorgeous!
Pool hours are 9:00am – 9:00pm. North Clubhouse is closed Wednesdays for maintenance.
The North tennis court are open year round for your enjoyment. If your day is full, try playing an evening game, the lights for the courts are on timers until midnight. You can bring your own tennis equipment or you are welcome to use ours during open hours.
The North clubhouse also has a private banquet room available at an additional charge for family gatherings, meetings, wedding receptions and other events!
2. Upper Alpine: Upper Alpine might be the smaller of the three clubhouses but has its own unique qualities, centrally located on Upper Alpine it is convenient from all directions. The pool deck offers plenty of shade and sunshine, a view of the ski slopes and a 20×40 pool that is 3 ft – 8 ½ ft, as well as a wading pool just deep enough for little ones with a cascading raindrop umbrella to add to the fun.
The clubhouse has changing rooms and showers (bring your own towels) as well as a game room with pool table, foosball, air hockey, video game and a game table for chess and checkers. Concessions are available during open hours.
This facility is closed for maintenance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
3. South Baden Clubhouse is located just steps away from the Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park. Get your all day wristband there and you can easily spend the day going back and forth without ever having to leave our scenic mountain setting or dealing with traffic!
The South Clubhouse features a 58,000 gal swimming pool with sections from 1ft. – 9 ft., tennis courts, shuffleboard, horseshoes and a kid’s playland enclosure for children 12 and under. Meeting rooms are available for reunions, groups and retreats for an additional fee.
The Clubhouse game room has pool tables, ping pong, foosball table, checkers, chess and video games as well as a small “home style” work out room with a universal gym and other equipment to help you stay in your exercise routine.
If you must work or find the need for internet access while on vacation, the South Clubhouse offers free wireless access for both homeowners and overnight guests you simply need your laptop and a current pass.
Changing rooms and showers are available; however, you must bring your own towels. Drink machine and concessions are available during operating hours.

House Rules
1. I have the cleaners send me video and photos after each cleaning to confirm the cleaning was done in a satisfactory manner. Within the first hour of arrival please look around and contact me with any concerns you have. Please do not wait until you leave to inform me of issues. I want to correct any problems ASAP so that you have an enjoyable stay.
2. Hot tub: We are required by law to empty the hot tub between guests. Therefor the water may not be hot when you arrive. Please keep the hot tub cover on at all times when not in use to help keep the water hot. Please do not use oils or bubbles in the hot tub.
3. We are on a septic tank here in the mountains. Please tell all guests not to flush anything but toilet paper. Do not flush "flushable wipes", feminine hygiene products, paper towels, small children etc. These products will cause a clog. Please just wrap products and put them in the trash can.
4. There are no garbage disposals in the mountains either so please throw all food products in the garbage. Putting food down the sink will also cause a clog.
5. It is recommended that you get several days provisions including some items that do not require cooking just in case there is a power outage, storm, tornado, fallen trees, anything that might prevent you from getting to town and/or cooking. There is a gas grill and a gas fireplace as a backup.
6. Trash cans are in the corner of the driveway enclosed within a gate. Please make sure the gate is latched when done to keep the bears out.
7. All bedrooms and the living room have smart T.V.s that you can enter your info and watch Netflix, Amazon prime tv, Roku etc.
8. The owners access pass for the resort is hanging in the kitchen. The resort is typically open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Make sure the card is returned to its place. If you lose the card, you will be charged $30 for a new one. We are not responsible for resort closures.
9. You have access to the entire cabin except the owner's closet which is in the 3rd bedroom.
10. Things work until they don't. Please contact me as soon as you realize something is broken or not working properly. I will do my best to fix it.
11. Do not leave opened food out overnight, it will attract critters.
12. Please do not use metal utensils on the nonstick cookware. It will scratch and ruin them.
13. Before you check out: throw out ALL the food and beverages that you brought. Put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start it. Leave all sheets on the bed. Please double check your belongings to make sure that any of the cabin’s belongings did not get mixed up with your belongings. Close the windows, turn out the lights, lock the door and message me after you leave, please.
14.The maximum occupancy is 12. If you bring more people than 12 you will be asked to leave with no refund. If it’s discovered that you brought more people than allowed at checkout you will be required to pay $100 per night per guest. No smoking, parties or events allowed.
15. Travel Insurance is recommended but not required. A travel insurance plan can help cover your vacation investment.
16. Do not touch Wi-Fi router if the internet is having problems. Wi-Fi in the mountains is not always perfect. Do not disconnect any electronics including the camera. Please contact me with any problems you have. You will be responsible for any cost incurred to fix the electronics if you touch them without permission.
17. Do not leave the windows open with the AC or heat running. This could cause the condenser to freeze over. Please turn down the heat or turn up the air if you are leaving the cabin and not using it.
18. Keep the doors locked at all times even when you are home, again because we have bears!
19. The road to the driveway has a dip if you have a low profile vehicle you will need to come in at an angle from the lowest point to prevent scratching the bottom of you vehicle.
20. Guest must sign digital rental agreement.
