About this space
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We have all the amenities you will need for a great stay away from the hustle and bustle of your everyday life. Very stylish little cabin in the country with access to walking trails, a pool, and a hot tub($) at the main house. We have farm animals, and we run an animal rescue that can have anywhere from 14 to 32 dogs. They stay mostly near the main house.

Other things to note
This is a remote location without access to high-speed internet. However, a booster is in the house to boost your cell signal.
Critters such as ants, spiders, moths, flies, mosquitoes, and many other things are native to this area, and it is typical in the country to have an occasional sighting of these tiny creatures. For example, they like to come in during the hot season looking for water. Please keep in mind that you are booking a trip in the wilderness- we are in the country and located in THEIR territory. We prepare for such sightings and invasions through routine extermination treatments throughout the year. We give no refunds for seeing any of these creatures and want to prepare our guests for what to expect. Please respect nature and accept all that comes with it if booking here. Do not book if this is an issue. We only want you to have a great time. If there is ever an abundance of ants or other pests inside, please notify us so that we can address the issue immediately.

Danny and Jamie have lived in Oakwood, Texas since 2015. Danny is a retired Navy Chief and the President of Fureverwood Rescue. Jamie is the director Texas AFT's Bridges Institute for Professional Development. Together they run Fureverwood Rescue here on the property. They rescue all types of animals including dogs and farm animals.

Their inspiration behind building Wheneverwood Hideaway was to let people
experience the peacefulness of country living and disconnect from technology and the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Check In: 3PM - Flexible

You will receive a code on the day of your check-in. There will be a key on the table below the TV.

House Rules

Please notify the host if you would like to use the pool or hot tub before coming to the host's house. The hot tub does require 30 minutes to heat.
Limit of two pets per stay. Pets must remain on a leash when outside and crated when guests leave.

Payment Policy

Fifty percent of payment and a $100 deposit are due when booking. The remainder must be paid ten days prior to your stay.

Refundable Damage Deposit

The security deposit will be refunded upon inspection of the property after check out.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made 7 days prior to arrival.
