In the heart of Tuscany, with stunning views of the Chianti hills, this charming apartment is an ideal holiday retreat.

The Fattoria degli Usignoli is a small hamlet, built in the 15th century by monks. It has been sensitively converted into a series of holiday apartments, with two swimming pools, a tennis court and many other amenities, for guests to enjoy.

This 2nd-floor apartment, under the wooden eaves, sleeps 2 people. The terracotta floors, large windows looking out over the beautiful countryside and unique paint finish on the walls, make it a special place to stay. The sitting room has a sofa, flatscreen TV and dining table for 4 people. The pretty tiled kitchen is equipped with an induction hob and fridge. A glass door leads from the kitchen directly onto a private balcony.

The outdoor space has been arranged with as much care as the interiors. The well-tended gardens are full of things to do. There are 2 beautiful, shared swimming pools with sun loungers and parasols. Guests can use the tennis court or play football. There is table tennis and other children’s games.

There is a riding school on site and treks on horseback can be arranged. Guests can also rent bicycles to explore the surrounding area. The Fattoria also has a restaurant on-site and a grocery shop.

The light and airy master bedroom has a double bed with ample wardrobe space, comfortable cane armchairs and a table for morning coffee.

Location
In the village of Pratomagno, the Fattoria is ideally located for guests to enjoy the beauty of Tuscany. Florence, with its world-famous museums and palaces, is just 32km away (52 minutes drive) and Arezzo, another beautiful city, is 55 minutes to the south. The town of Greve in Chianti, in the vine-covered Chianti hills, (55 minute drive) has many vineyards where you can try the local Chianti wines and take some bottles home.

For something more modern, The Mall (16 minutes) is an Aladdin’s cave of designer outlets, selling the best of Italian designer brands such as Fendi, Armani, Gucci etc at heavily reduced rates.

Florence’s international airport is 48 minutes away.
