This stunning, one of a kind home offers a rare glimpse into historic Knoxville. Built in 1940, this home balances vintage charm and upscale modern comfort. With terrazzo floors, original hardwood, and ornate tile work including 24k gold tile, unexpected charm is around every corner. This home is the most conveniently located high-end rental on the market, within walking distance to Neyland Stadium, Tyson Park, the University of Tennessee campus, downtown Knoxville, Market Square, Worlds Fair Park, and the Tennessee River. Walk to brunch downtown or grab a beer at one of several bars close by. Go for a job down the Tennessee River or visit the Tennessee Botanical Gardens off Neyland Drive. The pool is closed seasonally from mid October through mid April. The pool is subject to being untreated/drained when not available for usage. Please note, we are unable to guarantee the exact dates of reopening for the pool as this is determined by several factors including weather and service schedule. If youd like to confirm the pool will be open during your trip dates, please reach out.
Travel Insurance: We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip. Travel insurance is a guaranteed option to ensure you are able to receive reimbursement for a covered event should circumstances arise that prevent you from traveling as planned (ex: medical/family emergencies, illness, work obligations, inclement weather, etc). Please confirm with your chosen travel insurance company as to a comprehensive list of all covered events. 2. Unregistered visitors or guests are not allowed. Visitors or overnight guest must be approved prior to being onsite. There is a $25 additional guest fee per guest per night fee for more than 6 guests.
3. Smoking inside is strictly prohibited. Cigarette butts must be disposed of in the appropriate ashtrays/trash cans. A $500 minimum fine will be assessed for smoking inside the home. We will not tolerate any violation of this rule and ask you to please respect our home by smoking outdoors only. Smoking any illegal substances inside or outside the home will result in immediate cancellation with no refund.
4. Parties or unauthorized events are strictly prohibited. Any party or unauthorized event may result in immediate cancellation with no refund.
5. Quiet time is 11 p.m. We appreciate you being respectful of our neighbors.
6. Please park in designated parking areas and ensure roads are not blocked by vehicles.
7. Please use designated makeup towels for makeup removal to prevent staining white towels. Stained linens will be charged back as damage.
8. Please observe the check out items we have in place including: disposing of all trash in trash can, washing dishes/starting dishwasher, placing used towels in the shower, locking doors and windows, and reporting any damages. This list will be sent the night prior to check out.
9. Please report any damages and/or breakages prior to check out.
10. We understand accidents happen; however, if our cleaning team has to to clean any bodily fluid, guests will be charged a minimum cleaning fee of $150 per bodily fluid incident.
11. A security deposit is required for this home. This deposit will be requested via email 3 days prior to check in date and is due no later than the day of check in. This deposit is processed via our Airbnb authorized software--Airbnb confirms this via the article https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/199.
