House Rules
In additions to the language stated in this Agreement, the Parties agree to the following:

FIRE PIT USAGE

The Property owner understands that the creation and maintenance of the firepit is for the enjoyment of Renters. In using the firepit, the Renter assumes full responsibility and safety of the firepit and the additional Renters as well as the wellbeing of the Property. The Property owner assumes no responsibility in personal injury caused by Renter created fires nor does the Property owner assume any responsibility in damage created to the Property, items or neighboring properties caused by Renter created fires. In signing this agreement the Renter agrees to the following: only locally purchased or provided firewood may be burned in the firepit. Fires are not permitted to expand beyond the designated firepit. Fires may only be started with a standard lighter (no propane, gasoline, kerosene, etc. may be utilized). No foliage from the Property may be harvested for burning use. Fires are not allowed to burn past 4ft in height from the bottom of the firepit. Refuse is not permitted to be placed into firepit for burning or discard. All fires must be extinguished with the water hose connected to the Property near the hot tub. No fires are to be left unattended for any amount of time. No fires are permitted to be burned during high winds or high wind advisories. The Renter may be charged or lose security deposit for any signs of firepit misusage.

GRILLING/GAS USAGE

In the event the Renter is to require usage of the Property owner provided propane grill, the Renter is to follow instructions provided and labeled on the grill. Safety labels must be read by Renter as well. Before grill usage, Renter must check propane tank to determine if it properly filled for grilling use (see grill instructions). After every use of the propane grill, Renters must completely close off the valve on the propane tank to ensure there is no leaking gas. Renter must also clean any mess created during the grilling process with provided tools. Property owner is not responsible for any injuries sustained due to usage of propane grill, or explosions due to improper usage of propane grill, and by signing this agreement the Renter is responsible for said injuries. Property owner is not responsible for any undercooked meat or improperly cooked food, or food related illnesses sustained from Renter grill utilization. The Renter is not permitted to bring their own grill to the premises. Grill baskets for the firepit are permitted, as long as food remnants are discarded as to not draw unwanted wildlife. In the event that the propane tank is low or empty, please contact Property owner for instructions on where to find additional tanks. In the event the Property owner is unable to provide a sufficient amount of propane for food preparation, the rate of stay may be discounted or adjusted. If the grill is improperly used or managed by the Renters, Renters may be charged or lose security deposit.

HOT TUB USAGE

THIS SHOULD BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH OUR TERMS & CONDITIONS
RENTER(S) MUST NOT USE THE HOT TUB FACILITIES IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WITHOUT SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT OR VERBALLY AGREEMENT

ALCOHOL AND HOT TUBS DO NOT MIX

Drinking alcohol in a hot tub can be dangerous. A hot tub causes your blood vessels to dilate which in turn will cause your blood pressure to rise. This means that alcohol will get into your blood stream faster and circulate through your body faster which will have a greater effect on you than normal. The heat of the tub and the alcohol combined can cause dehydration and possible heat exhaustion. If you feel any of the following symptoms then get out of the tub immediately:

Light headed, dizzy, nausea, rapid heartbeat, faint or fatigue, headache, extreme sweating.

GENERAL

The hot tub requires testing and chemical treatment in order to be enjoyed safely. On check in we may agree with you a time in which we can come to the cabin and administer such, this process should not disturb you and, barring any issues, will not take any longer than 15 minutes. It is usually done mid morning to ensure the hot tub is then perfect for the rest of the day and evening.

The cover must always be replaced when not in use to maintain the temperature and ensure safety at all times.

RULES

FAKE TAN MUST NOT BE WORN IN THE HOT TUB UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Renter(s) MUST shower before using the hot tub, to ensure the removal of moisturizers, perfumes that will affect the clarity of the water and chemical balances, this ensures a pleasant experience for all. Renter(s) should also shower after using the hot tub.

In consideration to the neighboring properties, we ask if voices be kept to a minimum volume, thank you.

Please take care when using the hot tub and do not run when wet underfoot.

Drinks can be consumed around the hot tub area, please do so with care and try not to spill drinks into the water. Plastic glasses are provided for hot tub use. NO GLASS is permitted in the hot tub but should glass be broken in the tub then IMMEDIATELY vacate the tub then turn the jets off if they are running. Please report this to Property owner so that it can be dealt with as soon as possible. If it happens late at night then please refrain from using the tub and notify Property owner in the morning.

AT NO POINT MUST ANYONE WALK ON THE HOT TUB COVER. This is both for your safety and to ensure no damage to the cover itself.

DO NOT USE THE HOT TUB IF YOU HAVE SKIN, EAR, GENITAL OR OTHER BODY INFECTIONS, OPEN SORES OR WOUNDS. AT NO POINT SHOULD THE HOT TUB BE USED IF YOU SUFFER FROM THE ABOVE. THIS COULD CAUSE THE SPREAD OF INFECTION, IRRITATE YOUR CONDITION FURTHER AND CONTAMINATE THE HOT TUB FACILITY. DO NOT GET INTO THE HOT TUB WEARING FAKE TAN, MAKE UP, BODY CREAM ETC. THIS WILL CAUSE SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO THE TUB AND FILTRATION SYSTEM AND CAN CAUSE IT TO BE UN OPERATIONAL AND HAVE TO BE CLOSED TO YOU OR THE NEXT GUESTS.

DO NOT USE THE HOT TUB CONTINUOUSLY FOR MORE THAN 2 HOURS AT A TIME. This is first and foremost not good for your health and, secondly, running the pumps and leaving the lid open for longer will result in temperature loss and deterioration of water quality. Recommended guidelines suggest that you should use a hot tub for 15 to 30 minutes at a time with a maximum of 45 minutes at any one time.

DO NOT EAT FOOD OR SMOKE IN THE TUB.

DO NOT IMMERSE YOUR HEAD UNDERWATER.

DO NOT PUT ANY WEIGHT ON THE PLASTIC LID AS IT MAY DAMAGE OR BREAK THE LID.

DO NOT USE THE HOT TUB IN HIGH WINDS THIS WILL DAMAGE THE LID AND BE A SAFETY HAZARD.

If the hot tub is not in use then the cover should be closed, leaving the cover open for prolonged periods will reduce the hot tub temperature and therefore ruin your enjoyment.

HOT TUB HEALTH WARNINGS:

NO children under the age of 7 may use the hot tub.

DO NOT leave children unattended in or near the tub even when the lid is closed.

DO NOT use the tub if you are unwell, have low or high blood pressure, are pregnant, sensitive to chlorine or have any open wounds. If you have any doubts ask your doctor before booking.

HOT TUB DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES

Any damages to the lid, vinyl cover, lifting system, controls or filtration will be charged accordingly.

In the case of mis-use and/or not following the guidelines set out above which result in the hot tub facility having to be shut down due to contamination, chemical in-balance, damage etc will be charged to the Renter(s).

Any maintenance required as a result of introduction of pollutants (including soap, shampoo etc) will incur a charge to the Renter(s).

ANY CHARGES INCURRED ABOVE WILL BE FULLY DETAILED AND PHOTOGRAPH EVIDENCE PROVIDED AND SENT TO RENTER(S).

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

If we have follow-on guests that cancel due to the hot tub not being available as a result of damages caused by miss-use by Renters then their total booking cost will be charged to the Renter(s).

DISCOUNT
Should the Property be booked for the use of the hot tub and the hot tub be inoperable, a discount will be offered to the Renter(s) by the Property owner.

And Finally:

You use the hot tub at your own risk.
We cannot be held responsible for your safety whilst you are using the hot tub.
You will be held responsible for any damage.
