This beautiful south facing brick built chalet is self catering with open plan kitchen, wc and shower. The view across farming fields look towards Swale and beyond to Oare and Faversham and to the left, the lights of Seasalter and Whitstable. You can hang out on the grass front, relax and get away from it all as it takes just over an hours drive from London. Or you may prefer to swim or relax by the sea. Bird watching is popular due to the salt marshes. Very unspoilt and very photographic.
The chalet is situated at the top end of Park Avenue Holiday Village with stunning views over changing seasons of farmland. It has a bright airy feel from the expansive skyline flooding in. A cosy lounge with sofa and built in wooden beds in each room. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine.

Getting around

The Isle of Sheppey is best accessed by car and for getting around the surrounding areas. If you arrive by public transport you can get around using the local buses, please make sure you pick up a timetable at the stations prior to making your way from Sheerness/Queenborough to Leysdown. Please note that there are no buses to and from Leysdown on Sundays and bank holidays .

The keys are in a lockbox on location. Guests need to park offsite, walk to chalet to access gate barrier key fob from lockbox in gas store, code supplied 24 hours before arrival, return to the car to use by tapping between the 2 dots. Take the 1st right lane then left. Turning area is at the end and use the un/loading area if wet. Extra keys in drawer, long key for side door and if electric trips, check all switches up.

House Rules

No parking on the grass on very wet days. Unload from the path and then park at the start of this lane, by the office or up by the clubhouse or road outside. No reversing out of one way system, please use the turning area at the end of the row. No liquids or wet foods in bedrooms. If quilts, pillows, mattresses or mattress covers and pillow covers require laundry then extra cleaning costs will be required. This may be taken from the deposit. Essentials are not supplied. Quilts and pillows are available but not sheets, quilt covers, pillow cases, towels, soap, shampoo and toilet rolls. If bed linen and towels are required, please let me know as they can be hired at an extra cost; £15 per person per stay. Please indicate this after booking. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Please use the fan/light switch or open the window after showering; do make use of the dehumidifier and only throw toilet tissue down the toilet bowl. The raised patio at the top of the stairs for entrance via the French windows do not have railings, please be careful for toddlers below the age of 2.
