SEASCAPE is our escape from the world. Our ground floor, corner two bedroom, two bath condominium is located directly on Half Moon Bays beach. At almost fifteen-hundred square feet, it is larger than most 2/2 condos in the area and has a very open floor plan. As it is our 2nd home, we have over the years, completely upgraded it to be perfect for us and our discerning guests. Seascape is built with the best of Mexican craftsmanship using American/European materials and standards. It contains a combination of amenities that you wont find in any other condo in the area, making SeaScape the standard for combined luxury and comfort.
Some unique features of Seascape include: the best quality windows/door systems obtainable: minimizing heat, sound and storm impact, also providing solid security, state-of-the-art electrical outlets with direct USB charge ports, high quality kitchenware, blackout curtains, multi-room separable stereo system, custom built-in cabinetry with drawers throughout, underbed luggage storage, and decorative security ironwork.
Seascape is also environmentally friendly with energy efficient appliances, soft LED lighting, non-toxic paint, and non-polluting cleaning and paper products. We are fully licensed and permitted and exceed all safety requirements.
Everything is provided for a quiet, relaxing but fulfilling vacation, including FREE WIFI, FREE parking, PRIVATE beach loungers and chairs, FULL maid service, UNLIMITED bottled water, FULL AC, 2 LARGE SMART TVs with Private VPN, Netflix, and ROKU. Even a smart workspace! And of course great linens, beds, and bath products.
DETAILS
You know youve reached SeaScape just by its entrance which has a custom stained glass transom depicting its name. Stepping inside, you are immediately transfixed by the FULL view of Half Moon Bay and our beach. The living and dining areas are designed for maximum viewing and living pleasure towards this view.
Throughout the condo special touches abound depicting the best of local materials and craftsmanship: stained glass, tropical mahogany cabinetry, hand painted Talavera ceramics, Mexican handblown glass, and sustainable local hardwood furniture.
There are two bedrooms with king sized beds. Both bedrooms have orthopedic mattresses with supportive padding, combined with high count Egyptian cotton linens and multiple pillow types provide the most comfortable sleeping in ALL OF AKUMAL.
The master bedroom has a custom crafted headboard of exotic wood tiles from antique ship wrecks. It’s closets have woven south-American mahogany doors and built-in drawer cabinets and shelves so it’s easy to stay organized. The attached spa master bathroom is done in local marbles, natural sea glass and shell has a custom mahogany vanity with plenty of drawers and space.
The guest bedrooms is done in a contemporary Caribbean color scheme with a Tommy Bahama padded headboard and a hand carved mahogany dresser. It has a private patio and seating looking into our expansive gardens. The second bathroom boasts an onyx chunk stone sink, handmade tiles, and local marble walls and floor. All rooms have large ceiling fans including the baths. For additional comfort though, A/C is available throughout the condo.
The kitchen has custom made Mayan walnut (called Tzalam) cabinetry with plenty of drawers and cabinets. Its countertops have cut stone backsplashes, full size appliances and double sink provide convenience and space for cooking and bartending at the same time! Of course, SeaScapes kitchen is well outfitted for all types of entertaining.
Opposite the beach in the courtyard, beautiful gardens surround a large pool that includes a lap lane. It provides a shady lush contrast to our beach and bay. As a professional landscape designer, the gardens are my passion, so over the years, weve transformed the garden areas with many unique plants of the region, including many orchids, gingers, plumeria, dragon fruit and other tropical blooming plants. Its truly beautiful.
Akumal is sixty miles south of Cancun International Airport, south on the four lane, newly renovated highway 307. Half Moon Bay (HMB) is a designated ecological zone, with a vibrant living reef. While you are close to everything; it is very private and quiet. We are a quiet, laid-back area focused on our beautiful bay and beaches, snorkeling and pristine diving. Close by are Mayan ruins, golf, nature parks, cenotes, even active nightlife. This truly is the perfect place to create lifetime memories!

I have always loved vacationing to and experiencing different cultures. And for some reason could never get enough beach or snorkeling time! We dreamed of owning our own 2nd home, and when we came to Akumal in 1995, it set the standard for our dream. We wanted to create our little slice of paradise with all the ideas that we had gathered, and providing the perfect casual, luxury getaway for ourselves and our guests. Getting around
We are directly on the best part of Half Moon Bay. We have one of only beach areas that never has any seaweed, and we keep it private just for us and our guests. Right off our beach is some of the best snorkeling in the entire region.
If you want to explore the area, we do recommend renting a car. But you don't really need it if you want hang on our beach and gardens. As Akumal is very small, and Half Moon Bay has only 1 road, it it very easy to walk everywhere. We also have a local transport system called collectivos, as well as taxis and or course bicycle rentals or golf cart rentals that we can help arrange.
If you want to explore the area, we do recommend renting a car. But you don't really need it if you want hang on our beach and gardens. As Akumal is very small, and Half Moon Bay has only 1 road, it it very easy to walk everywhere. We also have a local transport system called collectivos, as well as taxis and or course bicycle rentals or golf cart rentals that we can help arrange.

Payment Policy
We accept multiple types of payments, including checks. Reservations will be held for 7 days after confirmation. A deposit of 50% of the total balance is required to confirm your booking. If payment is not received by this time your reservation may be canceled.
Upon receipt of final payment, a detailed Planning Guide including access documents will be provided to you.

Refundable Damage Deposit
Fully refundable damage deposit that is refunded app. 14 days after your departure. Also, if desired, as an alternative we have Rental Damage Insurance for $59.
Cancellation Policy
Worried About Covid-19? We realize this is an evolving environment and it seems hard to plan a vacation right now. So as long as the COVID-19 situation is with us, having hard cancellation rules now don't seem right. Planning a great vacation should be FUN and stress free.
So we have implemented new Super Flexible Payment and Cancellation Policies for bookings made for 2020, and does not apply to Holiday Dates (XMAS/NY).
- You can make a reservation with as little as 25% of the total rental fee to hold your dates.
- You can make payments monthly, quarterly: we can fit to your schedule. Let’s talk.
- Your reservation does need to be paid in full, 30 days prior to arrival. If you need to cancel, your deposit will be refunded without penalty. If you are booking with less than 30 days before arrival, we can grant some flexibility as long as you are paid in full 14 days before you arrive.In the unfortunate event you must cancel your reservation due to last minute imposed travel restrictions, etc, you will receive a refund of 100% of total reservation charges if booked direct.
- If you must cancel for other related COVID-19 reasons, less than 30 days prior to arrival, but more than 14 days, you will receive a refund of 50% of total reservation charges.
- Your reservation is nonrefundable if your written cancellation is received less than 14 days prior to arrival.
