Sea View Villa Danica - Podstrana

The 18th-century villa with interiors that redefine modern sensibilities, Villa Danica is a great way to escape from the city crowd and spend a few days relaxing in a lovely stone house.

Located in the village of Stara Podstrana at about 350 meters above sea level, this two-bedroom single villa has three floors and can host up to 8 guests. There is an open area in front of the house where there is a private garden, a covered terrace for dining, a BBQ and a lounging area. Inside the villa, the décor combines contemporary design with authentic Dalmatian features. The charming interiors offer a stylish and comfortable space to relax and unwind. On the ground floor, there is a big dining room with spectacular art pieces on the walls. The first floor has a bedroom, a small kitchen, a living room with a sofa and an HD digital TV, a balcony and a bathroom. On the second floor, there is a sea-view balcony, the second bedroom, a living room with a comfy sofa and a bathroom. There is also a kitchen on this floor. Guests will find appliances like coffee machine, microwave, oven, toaster, cooker hob and fridge.

Location

Villa Danica is a sea-view villa which is located about 3 kilometers from the sea and its beaches in the ethnic village of Stara Podstrana. It is also about 7-8 minutes’ drive by car to the town center. Here, guests will find a number of interesting places to visit including the beautiful, long promenade by the numerous pebbly beaches. The main center is the town of Split which is about 13 kilometers or a 15-20 minutes’ ride by car. The resort town of Split is known for its ancient structures and monuments including the UNESCO world heritage site Diocletian’s Palace, bell tower and the old town. Day trip ideas include climbing the Marjan hill and the coastal city of Trogir. The cuisine and wineries of the region are especially worth exploring.
