Inside, the 2nd floor retreat benefits from free WiFi access and a welcoming open plan layout, with a living space with single sofa bed featuring alongside a wall-mounted TV, a modern kitchen diner and private balcony access, complete with alfresco dining set with idyllic views. A restful master double bedroom provides an ambient haven for couples. The modern fitted family bathroom also provides extra convenience whilst away. Outside, the 2-storey residence is situated within walking distance of the Le Prarion cable car and 3-5 minutes’ drive from the Bellevue cable car and resort centre of Les Houches.

Location

Situated along ‘Allée du Château’, guests are placed on the doorstep of Lac des Chavants (a popular fishing lake for trout and white fish, as well as a popular winter setting for snowshoes and cross-country skiing). Guests are also a short walk away from Le Prarion ski lift and 3-5 minutes’ drive from the Bellevue cable car and resort amenities of Les Houches. The train station, horse riding centre, child-friendly activities, tennis club and ski school and are all within a short drive away.

Just 14 minutes’ drive away, Chamonix boasts a wealth of ski and winter pursuits, as well as a buzzing resort centre with a weekly local food market and plenty of grocery shops and supermarkets to take advantage of. A wide selection of world food restaurants, brasseries, cafes, fine dining and bars are also on hand to whet the appetite throughout the day and night. Those looking to enjoy a lively evening out will also be spoilt for choice; with a plethora of live music venues to accompany the resort’s nightclubs, lounge bars and microbreweries.

In the summertime, the Chamonix valley provides a great destination for hiking, mountaineering, rock climbing, riding, Adventure parks, paragliding and even water sports and golf; whilst in the wintertime, the region offers the perfect setting for skiing and snowboarding; with schools, rental shops, pristine slopes, cross country routes and off-piste runs providing a great distraction for all abilities.
