Welcome to your tranquil haven in the heart of Bryan, Texas! Casa da Vida promises a memorable stay for large groups up to 14 guests, offering 4 relaxing bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, and beautiful outdoor space with a year-round. Whether youre visiting for a family reunion, academic conference at Texas A&M, or exploring the rich history at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum, our home provides a delightful mix of Comfort, convenience, and Southern charm.
On entering the character-filled Casa da Vida, you are welcomed by a tastefully finished living room featuring a roomy sectional, a cozy reading nook, and an array of engaging board games for your entertainment. The heart of the home is a well-lit and fully stocked kitchen, complete with modern appliances such as a gas range, dishwasher, refrigerator, and our favorite, a Ninja air fryer. Youll find preparing meals a breeze and sharing them all the more enjoyable on the farmhouse dining table. Each of the four bedrooms is located upstairs, offering a quiet and serene space away from the communal areas for a restful nights sleep. The rooms feature comfortable bedding, with twin, queen, and king bed options, room-darkening curtains, and ample storage. Two full bathrooms upstairs provide convenience for all, featuring chic touches that speak of thoughtful attention to detail. Step outside into the fenced-in yard that boasts a year-round pool that is heated in the winter months, a covered patio with comfortable seating, a propane grill for BBQ evenings under the Texan stars, a fire pit, and a fun cornhole set. The perfect backdrop to socialize, unwind and make new memories.

Home Away From Home has been completely remodeled to bring a fresh new look to the Enchanted Oaks community in Bryan, Texas. It still holds its original character and charm and is unique in its own right. The mature oak trees and luscious landscaping greet you as you make your way around the circle drive. The home sits on 1/3 of an acre! There is ample parking for all of your guests on site.

Upon entering with the keypad entry, you will be greeted by the staircase and the 1st living room. It is outfitted with a massive sectional that has room for 9, a TV and a reading nook. Under the tv., there is a treasure chest with board games. The stairs are to the left which lead to the 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Heading to the back of the house; there is a half bath with a stunning hand painted landscape mural.

The kitchen, dining room and second living room greet you with an abundance of natural light and an open concept. The kitchen has a large farmhouse sink, gorgeous granite countertops, gas range, oven, large side by side refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, microwave, dishwasher, coffee bar (traditional drip and keurig) and an eating bar with two bar stools. It’s stocked with all the essentials to make meals at home. It even has Ninja air fryer!

On the other side of the kitchen, you’ll find the massive laundry room, office and ample storage. Feel free to use our washer and dryer during your stay as we always keep it stocked.

The farmhouse style dining room table has room for 8. It was handmade using the previous spindles that once separated the dining room from the living room. Our fabulous stadium seating behind our couch has seating for 3. The second living room is centered by the wood burning gas fireplace and has an abundance of natural light from two skylights. A couch and 4 chairs with numerous blankets await you. Gather around the wood burning fireplace or head outside to BBQ on our gas grill, sit on the fabulous patio, light up a fire in our fire pit or play a game of corn hole on our set. The massive backyard is southeast facing and is exceptional at sunset.

All bedrooms are upstairs:
Bedroom 1: 2 twins and a rollaway twin
Bedroom 2: 1 queen
Bedroom 3: 1 king
Bedroom 4: 2 queens with an en suite full bathroom that has a shower. This bedroom is outfitted with an additional vanity, stool and mirror.

There is a second bathroom in the hallway that has a shower and tub combo. Each bedroom has lush carpet, room darkening curtains, blinds and closets with hangers to use during your stay.

We improved our HVAC system by adding an additional zone upstairs (located in the 2 queen bedroom) to ensure our guests are always comfortable. We have excellent internet - 1 gigabyte. We also have an eero mesh network to ensure our internet covers the entire property!

House Rules
Pets are welcome but for a $75 one time fee PER pet and must be remitted BEFORE your check in. Dogs must be potty trained and house broken. Any pet urine stains found from any animal will result in a $250 fee being assessed plus the cost of any damages. Any additional damage done to the house by any animal will be charged full replacement cost and paid 100% by the guest. Any holes dug by dogs must be filled in or repaired prior to check out or a $150 will be assessed. No exceptions. No candles, glitter, confetti, or plug in air fresheners are allowed. No tape or anything sticky is permitted on the walls or any part of the home. Please do not put nail holes or tape or anything that could damage the walls. Smoking not allowed anywhere on the property. Events are only allowed if APPROVED, a contract is to be signed and a minimum $250 fee will be assessed on top of booking amount. An Additional deposit will be required paid directly to owner of $500. Guests will be required to clean any trash and return the property back into the condition it was delivered. A $150 fee will be assessed is excess trash is left. Trash is collected on Wednesday (must be placed out on Tuesday night as it is an early collection) and Recycling is collected every other Thursday. We will contact you about placing these items out if it occurs during your stay. Please respect our neighbors. If you cannot do so, you will be asked to leave. Please do not use our white washcloths or towels to remove your makeup. Please use the plain black towels or the black towels with “makeup” written on them. Any ruined towels will be charged to the guests ($10) to replace. Guests are responsible for taking all personal items out of the property at or before check out. We include a reminder in our check out instructions. The host is not responsible for any items left on site. Guests may arrange pick up of items with the hosts and under some circumstances we will mail items for a $50 fee along with the cost of shipment. Please treat our home like it is your own!
