This property is beautifully situated between the Kenai River (approx 2 miles away) and the Cook inlet (approximately 3 miles away), and 5 minutes from downtown Soldotna and Kenai. You are just off the main road to Homer as well!

Gorgeous custom Log homes that can sleep up to 10. So perfect for a family reunion, or friends and family getaway. Complete with extra freezer in the garage to store your daily catch until ready to leave! Or fix it on the commercial oven or gas grill outside!

These homes were the dream of a custom builder from New York. They were built as his permanent home! He put so much care and talent into each detail. All the carvings and custom furniture you see he built! We hope that you will love and respect this beautiful piece of art as much as we do! If you want to do more than sleep in Alaska, but truly experience Alaska, this is the place for you!

You will have both homes, laundry room, plus the freezer, and fishing gear storage in garage. Please note that you are not allowed to do any fish processing on the premises! If it is found that processing was done, you will forfeit your deposit. Its not that we dont love fishing, its our love and respect for bears, and your safety that we cannot allow it. We would be more than happy to refer you to amazing fish guides who will process for you, or reputable businesses in town that can do it as well. You are welcome to keep your packaged fish in the freezer in the garage until departure.

I am always a text or phone call away, and will check in shortly after check in and mid week if longer stay. I do have people close by to help if needed.

This is a perfect location between Soldotna and Kenai, and between the river and the inlet. You have easy access to the main road that goes to Homer, or easy day trip to Seward, Girdwood, Cooper Landing. So much to see and do!!

Car is essential!

We observe quiet time from 11 pm to 7 am as this is a residential area, and need to respect others who live in the area. No parties or events are permitted.

Please be aware that there are security cameras on the exterior front and back of the home to protect the house when it is vacant. No cameras are located inside the home, so cameras can only see what your neighbor can see.

Master bedroom/Main house

1 queen bed

Sleep number queen bed! Also has it's own private bathroom with large shower with multiple jets, a small separate bathtub, vanity and toilet. Hairdryer is provided as well.

Guest bedroom/Main House

1 queen bed

Queen bed, windows have blackout blinds to be able to sleep in those summer nights where the sun refuses to go down! This bedroom has it's own bathroom with shower, sink, toilet. Hairdryer provided as well.

Loft bedroom/Guest cabin

1 queen bed, 1 single bed

This loft bedroom is located in the guest cabin that runs perpendicular to the main house. It has a queen bed, and a twin bed!

Multipurpose room/Guest Cabin

3 single beds

This is everyone's favorite room! First of all, it is "hidden". It requires the turn of a small antler piece on the top of the kitchen pantry to open the door to this room! See the pictures! There are three twin beds in this awesome room, and a long counter with stools for laptops, games, puzzles, etc. There is also a folding table and chairs available for more game playing, or just talking over a cup of coffee.

Bathroom/Guest Cabin

Bathroom has a generous sized shower, sink and toilet. Toilet paper and towels are provided for your stay. There is a soap/shampoo/bodywash dispenser in the shower, so you can leave that stuff at home if desired! There is also a hairdryer in the bathroom.

Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the homes or on the decks. There is a designated smoking area with receptacles for butts in the front yard. If smoking occurs in the home, you will forfeit your entire deposit. If butts are found thrown anywhere except the receptacles provided, you will be charged and extra cleaning fee!

No Parking

Parking is ample, and all guests need to park in the driveway so as to not block the view of the front yard for all guests on the property.

We are situated between the Kenai River and the Cook Inlet. Central to fishing, shopping & touring

Getting around

Public transportation is not readily available in the area. You really need to rent a car. The cheapest way to go is to fly to Anchorage and rent a car there and drive down. It is about a 2 1/2 hour drive. There is taxi's and Uber available. I have heard good things about renting through Turo as well.

Policies and Rules

Check In: 4PM - Flexible

Entrance is a keypad lock. I will send you the code a few days before arrival. You will have this code on the stone entrance between the main house and the garage, giving you access to the laundry area, wine cooler and garage. There is a red binder in the home that has all the house information, including wifi code, house rules, check out instructions, and local activities and restaurants. I try to accommodate early check in or late check out when possible, but if I have new guests coming in same day, that isn't possible.

No pets

Minimum age limit for renters: 25

Age to book must be at least 25 years old. Photo ID will be required on initial booking. No minors are to be left alone on the property without someone over the age of 25 at any time.

Maximum occupancy: 10

We have a strict occupancy policy and cannot allow over 10 people staying.

Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am each day
-No shoes to be worn in the house! Boot trays are provided at entrances. It's an Alaska custom!
- Absolutely no fish processing/cutting on the premises! There is a freezer available to you in the garage to store packaged fish however. Any evidence of fish processing on the property will result in forfeiture of you damage deposit. Many fish guides off this service, or we can refer you to a reputable processor in town.
- Please no cutting on the counter, there are multiple cutting boards available in each house
- You must be at least 25 to book, both homes must have an adult present with children under 18 at all times! Children under 18 not to be left alone in either house.
- Combined units are not to be occupied by more than 10 people.
- No smoking or vaping except in designated outdoor areas. A place to put cigarette butts is provided. Please use them! any evidence of smoking or vaping indoors will result in forfeiture of your security deposit. Any butts found outside of the provided containers on the property will be considered for an extra cleaning fee.
- All fishing equipment, including boots or smelly clothes are to be stored in the garage or in your vehicle. Nothing to be stored in the houses
- Garage area where fishing gear is stowed is to be cleaned by you upon exit.
- Houses are on Septic, so no flushing of wipes or hygiene items.

Payment Policy

Payment via check or Square Invoice. We must receive 50% payment, the completed rental agreement and copy of photo ID prior to confirm the reservation. Remaining 50% and security deposit due 30 days prior to check-in date.

Refundable Damage Deposit

A refundable damage deposit is held until housekeeping has verified that there has been no excessive cleaning required, damage or theft. A refund will be issued back to your card within 4 days of departure, and can take 5 to 7 days to show up on your account. Any fish processing on the property or smoking/vaping in the house will result in the forfeiture of your security deposit.

Cancellation Policy

100% booking deposit refundable when cancelled more than 30 days prior to check-in date.

50% booking deposit refundable when cancelled more than 14 days prior to check-in date.
