Both summer and winter alike, this beautiful 2-story chalet with 2 bedrooms plus loft and a 1-3/4 bath will delight your family and help to create lasting memories! Upon entering the main side entrance, you’ll discover a mud room that features a washer/dryer and plenty of room and provisions for personal gear storage. Just beyond that, there’s a well thought out ¾-bath, one bedroom with a queen sized bed and lots of closet space. Kitchen has a prep station / breakfast bar with two bar stools overlooking the dining area that comfortably seats four. An open and airy living room with expansive windows provide northern sun exposure with a treed territorial view, a free standing gas fire place to cozy-up to on those winter nights, and a “smart TV”. The living room door opens up to a nice private outdoor deck for relaxing and entertaining. There is plenty of table seating, and a gas grill provided for bar-be-que time! The second floor reveals a very nice loft sitting area overlooking the front windows…great for those quiet times. The loft also features a trundle bed that sleeps 2, and another flat screen monitor. Adjacent to the loft is the 2nd bedroom with a king size bed and a unique full ensuite bath with a large soaking tub for relaxing those weary bones after a long day of fun outdoor activities. This pet-friendly (2-pet Maximum, No Exceptions), WIFI equipped, and monitored family vacation property will sleep 4 to 6-persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!). Have a larger group? This cabin pairs well with Cabin #1, which is located right next door!

The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, nature viewing, and golf. WINTER Guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Dont forget your camera...the photography is unsurpassed year-round.

FROM SEATTLE (WA): Take Interstate-5 (North) to Bellingham Exit #255 (Sunset Drive/Mt. Baker Highway I-542). Turn right at the end of the off ramp and proceed (East) directly to our offices in the town of Maple Falls. Approximate driving time 2-hours.

FROM VANCOUVER, B.C (Canada): Take Highway 99 (South) to the Peace Arch Crossing at the Canada / USA border exchange, then take Interstate-5 (South) to Bellingham Exit #255 (Sunset Drive/Mt. Baker Highway I-542). Turn left at the end of the off ramp and proceed (East) directly to our offices in the town of Maple Falls. Approximate driving time 1.5-hours.

Check In: 4PM - Flexible

All guests must stop at our office in Maple Falls. Here they will receive keys as well as location information. WHERE YOU CHECK IN: Mt. Baker Lodging Office 7425 Mt. Baker Highway Maple Falls, WA 98266-2002 Hours: 9AM - 5PM PST DAILY, except holidays Please Note: For after hour check-ins, the Guest’s reservation packet will include information on how to access a lock box for keys and directions.

House Rules

1: Guests are expected to be mindful of neighboring residences, and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time.

3: Housekeeping/maid services are not available during your stay.
4: Upon departure we require Guests to start the dishwasher.
5: Early check-in is not allowed
6: All properties are non-smoking

Refundable Damage Deposit

A Damage Deposit is not required, however damages will be charged to the Guests credit card.

Cancellation Policy

If cancellation is received a minimum of 21-days or greater prior to our guest(s) scheduled date of arrival, Mt. Baker Lodging will gladly refund your Advance Reservation Payment less a cancellation fee of sixty-five dollars ($65.00) or 8% (which ever amount is greater); 20 thru 15 days forfeits the Advance Reservation Payment*; 14 days or less forfeits the entire rental amount*.

*Unless the vacation property can be re-rented, in which case only the cancellation fee of sixty-five dollar ($65.00) or 8% (which ever amount is greater) will apply.

Winter Holiday Bookings and Cancellations – All bookings for the period of December 15 – January 2 require payment in full by December 1st. If cancelled on or prior to November 15th, the Advance Reservation Payment will be refunded minus the cancellation fee of $65.00 (sixty-five dollar) or 8% (which ever amount is greater). From November 16th through November 30th, the Advance Reservation Payment will be forfeited unless the home(s) can be re-rented, in which case only the cancellation fee of $65.00 (sixty-five dollar) or 8% (which ever amount is greater) will apply. On or after December 1st, guests will forfeit the entire rental amount unless the home(s) can be re-booked, in which case only the cancellation fee of $65.00 (sixty-five dollar) or 8% (which ever amount is greater) will apply.
