Ski and relax at this cosy mountain holiday home with a large private balcony, Jacuzzi and an optimum ski location in Sestriere!

Located just a short walk from ViaLattea ski slopes and Sestriere centre, this convenient and modern 2-bedroom holiday apartment for 5 is an ideal base for year-round vacations. The fourth-floor apartment is part of a prestigious complex with lift access and is suitable for guests of all ages. Inside the condominium, there is a beautiful common room with a stone fireplace that is almost always lit, where you can meet for a chat with friends or a game of cards or more simply relax in front of the fireplace with a good book in your hands.

The apartment has everything needed for a carefree self-catering stay and also enjoys a stunning view of the Monti della Luna. There is a Smart TV and a books library, as well as a well-equipped kitchen and dining with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge with freezer, Raclette, fondue and toaster.

Location

The apartment is in a prestigious condominium, just a stones throw from the centre and the ski slopes. It enjoys breathtaking views of the mountains of the Monti della Luna and the valley of Cesana. Restaurants, cafes, ski rentals and supermarkets are all within a 10-15 minute walking radius. The closest bus stop (Ses-Via Cesana) is a 10-minute walk from here.

For soaking up the perennial beauty of the alpine area, Valle Argentera is a 10-minute drive from here, while Parco Naturale Val Troncea is a 20-minute drive away. For golfers, the Sestriere Golf Club is just a 15-minute walk away. And if you are looking for something fun to experience with the entire family, then the Husky Experience is about a 20-minute drive from the holiday apartment in Sestriere.

Other than that, guests can enjoy cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing in Sestriere. There is even an outdoor swimming pool (heated) which is open in the winter and summer months.

During the summer months, Sestriere and its surroundings offer visitors a rich programme of entertainment, cultural and sports events for adults and children. There are sports days and fitness weekends with certified personal trainers. The location of the Grange Hike & Ski apartments is ideal for those in search of wilderness and unspoilt nature. The neighbouring valleys, such as the Argentera Valley and the Vallone di Thuras, offer a network of trails with varying degrees of difficulty, and it is possible to organise guided outings with environmental hiking guides by prior booking. There are also numerous routes in the area for mountain bike and downhill enthusiasts at all levels. For our guests, there are discounts in affiliated shops for e-bike and muscle bike hire. The nearby Sestriere offers an internationally renowned golf course (18 holes, par 65), a swimming pool and tennis courts. For the summer of 2023, the stages of the trial motorbike and enduro bike world championships are scheduled at the end of July, and in the first week of August the important international athletics meeting and the Sestriere film festival. History lovers should not miss the re-enactment of the battle of Assietta in July and the guided visits to the Fortress of Fenestrelle and the Chaberton museum in Claviere. In Grangesises and Sestriere there are many excellent restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets. For self-catering, Sestriere offers supermarkets (the nearest is a 10-minute drive away) and small shops selling local specialities. Turin airport is 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from the flat. A damage deposit of 1000EUR has to be paid locally for groups under 21.
