Emerald Apt City Center - Spello

A traditional Umbrian apartment, with a few contemporary touches, on the 1st floor of a charming townhouse, in the heart of Spello, this makes a wonderful holiday base for 5 friends or a family.

The private entrance leads directly into the open-plan living area with terracotta floors and some original stone features. There is a sofa, a wooden sideboard, flatscreen TV and a dining table for 4. The new, fitted kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and coffee machine.

Bedroom: A spacious bedroom, with an arched window overlooking the valley, there is a comfortable, double bed and a single bed, as well as a large wooden wardrobe, chest of drawers and a flat-screen TV.
Extra: The sofa in the living area converts into a comfortable double bed.

Location
The town of Spello is an ideal base from which to explore the gems of Umbria. It has many interesting historical sites. There are many walks directly from the town through olive groves and past Roman ruins, where visitors can enjoy the countryside in peace. Assisi, with its famous cathedrals and shrines to St Francis, is just 20 minutes away by car. The stunning city of Perugia is a 30-minute drive. The town of Montefalco (30 minutes) is famous for its fine red wines. Visitors will find many different vineyards where they can try the wine and buy directly from the producers.

For self-catering, Spello’s weekly market, every Wednesday morning, sells everything from food to clothes and handbags. There is also a supermarket a few minutes from the main town gates. The closest airport is at Perugia a 21-minute drive away.
