Location
 
The mountain-view holiday retreat is located among greenery and a very peaceful location. It offers a rare opportunity to enjoy solitude and nature’s quietness. The nearest restaurant, shops and supermarket is a short walk from the house. In the nearby farms, guests can also enjoy traditional delicacies like Idrija žlikrofi, salty potica and other local dishes.
 
The place is perfect for those who love to explore nature and spend an active holiday. The region offers water sports, fishing, hiking, golfing, horse riding, trekking opportunities. The nearby town of Idrija is famous for mercury mines (22 minutes) and Idrija lace museum (23 minutes). Idrija is one of the few places in the world where mercury occurs in both its elemental liquid state and as cinnabar (mercury sulfide) ore. The subterranean shaft mine entrance known as Anthonys Shaft (Antonijev rov) is used today for tours of the upper levels and has life-sized depictions of workers who worked here over the ages. Together with the Spanish mine at Almadén, it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2012.
 
Guests are also a short drive of not more than half an hour from the famed underground caves (Postojna Cave), Lipica Stud Farm or even the Slovenian capital Ljubljana with its lovely city center, central square, famous bridges, the castle, the river and not to forget, some of the finest restaurants.
