In an attractive, modern residence in the centre of Argentière, this duplex apartment offers guests an authentic chalet ambience, combining traditional alpine décor with stylish modern touches. In a quiet area of Argentière, in the heart of nature, this property is a charming holiday destination at any time of year.
Set in a shared garden with stunning mountain views, the apartment sleeps 6 people in comfort. The spacious living room, on the first floor, has wooden floors and a large stone chimney with a wood-burning stove. The corner sofa creates a cosy sitting area. Across the room is the large dining table for 6. Next to the table, double glass doors lead out onto a wide balcony where guests can relax at a wooden table and enjoy the views.
Next to the dining area, there is a rustic, but modern, wooden kitchen which is fully equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and kettle.
Two bedrooms are accessed via carved wooden stairs from the living room.
Sleeping
Bedroom 1: On the second floor, the cosy master bedroom is lined with pine wood. There is a double bed and a wooden chest of drawers.
Bedroom 2: This second bedroom also has wooden panelling and has a comfortable double bed.
Bedroom 3: A charming wood-lined bedroom with a bunk bed and large wooden wardrobe and a glass door out onto the balcony.
Bathrooms
Bathroom 1: A contemporary bathroom, on the second floor, with wooden walls, slate floors a stylish bath tub, basin and WC.
Bathroom 2: This modern, slate-lined bathroom on the first floor has a glass shower unit, basin and W.C.

In a quiet area of central Argentière, this property is within walking distance of ski shuttle buses for easy access to the slopes, for skiing or hiking. The slopes around Argentière are suitable for intermediate and experienced skiers. Some higher slopes offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May.
The village is home to some excellent restaurants and bars to suit all budgets. The weekly (every Sunday morning) farmers market in Place du Village (a 20-minute walk) offers the very best of local produce and specialities for cooking at home. Otherwise, there are several supermarkets close by and a bakery 3 minutes away.
The Chamonix valley is an exciting holiday destination all year round. During the summer months, there are stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, rock climbing, paragliding and horse riding.
Geneva airport is a 1 hour 20-minute drive from the property. There are free shuttle services between Argentière and Chamonix, on the Mont Blanc Express. Argentière station is a 20-minute walk from the apartment. A damage deposit of 1000EUR has to be paid locally for groups under 21.
