ABOUT THE HOUSE: This two story home was designed by an architect in true modern style with clean contemporary design and offers unique indoor/outdoor living experience on the first floor. Casa Costa features two very spacious air conditioned master bedrooms (one on each floor) each with a private bathroom. As you enter onto the first floor, you find a fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances and a living room that opens to an infinity dipping pool and a hammock jungle view lounge area. The master bedroom offers a king sized bed, a futon that sleeps one or two more and a smart TV.
The upstairs bedroom includes a queen size bed and a single bed. It has its own entrance for extra privacy. Also includes a walk in closet, a mini fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker. It is equipped just enough to prepare cocktails and appetizers for sunset or for enjoying your morning coffee. Relax on the patio deck in one of the two hammocks or rinse off in the outdoor shower. A pool/beach towel is provided for each guest.
If you cant completely leave the outside world behind, there is secure Wifi which is provided in the welcome book upon check in.

Owner
Born and raised on pierogi in Poland. Moved to the US as a teenager with No English. After finishing my MA in School Admin., I decided to continue teaching and use my summers to travel. Met my fiance, Chris who is also a teacher and a fellow surfer (can we say perfect match? Summers OFF-Let's SURF woohoo!:) so we drive to Mexico every summer from Baltimore with our adopted Mexican dog, Lucho who also loves the beach. Things have change a bit in Feb. 2019 as we welcomed our little future surfer girl to our crew! We LOVE Mexico, surfing, dogs, and traveling. We know the coast of Mexico really well and having a car provides the ultimate way and freedom to experience any new place and true local culture. Ask us about surf breaks in Mexico and we can give you the details (except the "secret spots";) We have been both renters and homeowners, making us versed in the care taking that goes into properties. We hope to be great hosts to you in Sayulita with the help of our property manager Jorge.

Getting around
It's a 15 minute walk to both the plaza and the beach on dirt and cobble stone roads. A car or golf cart is recommended but isn't necessary. Lots of guests prefer to rent a golf cart or a car while at the house. We would be happy to help you arrange a golf cart with our favorite "Sayulita Golf Cart SCG" company. You can always get a $5 taxi to the house, day or night... they are waiting in the plaza.
Ask us to help arrange transportation from/to the airport.
PLEASE NOTE: During the rainy season (July - October), mostly during a tropical storm, roads can get slippery. We suggested to have a stronger golf cart or 4 wheel-drive towards the end of the rainy season in September-October.
For surfers or anyone that likes to explore other surrounding areas, it is an easy access without having to drive through Sayulita central.
Ask us to help arrange transportation from/to the airport.

To enter the house, please walk up the stairs through the red gate (pull the latch inside the gate to open), to the front door. To comply with the latest guidelines, our staff is following the safety precautions. Our property manager, Jorge or Mario will meet you to answer your questions and provide more information about the house.
Please follow social distance rules and wear a mask if possible.
When waiting for check in, you can use wifi at many restaurants.
Lockbox:
For after hours check in or in emergency situations, we also have a lockbox located to the right of the front door (downstair's bedroom). Please make sure to return the key back into the lockbox.

- Turn OFF the AC when not in the room and when leaving the house.

- All early check ins and late check outs are not guaranteed but might be available upon request for an additional fee pending availability. They are up to the discretion of the host, and must be approved in writing through the airbnb app before the booking is finalized.

The owners are not responsible for accidents or injuries to guests or for loss of money, jewelry or other valuables during their stay. The owners are not responsible for any interruption in electrical service (and any subsequent inconveniences to the guest), or water shortage, as this does occasionally happen from time to time in this small coastal village.
Please note that Mexico is different from the USA, Canada or Europe in that the country/people has their own sets of traditions, values, norms, and ways of life. Many things we take for granted “up north” are not quite the same down here in Sayulita.

The owners take great care to make the house a relaxing place to enjoy while visiting, so to ensure the overall quality and appearance of the property these policies are strictly enforced.

GUESTS
The maximum number of overnight guests allowed is the number of people stated on the reservation. Any increase must be approved prior to arrival and no more than the maximum occupancy for the property will be allowed. No guest may assign this agreement or sublet use of any part of the house. Only registered guests are allowed on the property. The guest that booked the house must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking.
KEYS
As the renter I agree to be responsible for the keys and will pay $75 for each lost key.
SECURITY
Please lock all doors and windows when leaving the property.
MAINTENANCE
- Please help us keep our septic system reasonably maintenance free by using the waste basket for all waste paper and all non-biodegradable items including coffee grounds, cooking fats, facial tissues, etc.
- Routine pest control happens quarterly or as needed. We will notify you ahead of time about the routine preventative maintenance. If this is not okay, we can reschedule any pest control appointments. Same applies to any repair appointments unless it’s an emergency.
- Please put away all food (fridge) and keep the kitchen counters or any other space, food and crumbs free. This will help keep the tiny ants or any other insects away.
- Changing the 5 gallon water bottle in the water garrafón/dispenser:
The white water garrafón/dispenser gets cleaned out in between the changes of new 5 gallon water bottles to make sure things stay sanitary. If you happen to need to change the water yourself, please wash the inside of the garrafón/white dispenser with soap and water between the changes or let us know if you need any help.
INSPECTIONS
Owner or owner's agent will have the right to show the premises to prospective clients with 24 hour notice to Renter at Renter's convenience. The owner or owner's agent also has the right to inspect the premises at anytime if there is reasonable cause to believe the Renter or any other person is misusing or damaging the premises or furnishings therein.

Once the reservation is made, we take those dates off the market from other guests. If guest has an emergency and must cancel, owner will reopen the dates on the calendar. If owner re-rents the dates, or some of the dates, then an appropriate refund will be issued.

All windows have screens except the doors in the living room (downstairs) that can open up to provide an indoor/outdoor feel.
PLEASE NOTE: This small Mexican town is definitely in its developing stages and in many areas, including our neighborhood, the roads are not paved and on a slight hill. Typically it’s very easy to walk, drive, golf cart, etc. but once in a while if there’s a big storm that can make a golf cart go up the hill a bit more difficult. In those cases, you can opt for the more heavy duty carts or 4-wheel drive, especially towards the end of the rainy season September and October. The rainy season typically starts July-October (mostly at night).

Both bedrooms are very spacious. The downstairs part of the house is a one bedroom apartment includes a king size bed and can accommodate 2 guests comfortably and 1 or 2 more when utilizing the futon. The downstairs unit is not suitable for kids (0-7) due to no railings.
The upstairs one bedroom studio with its own entrance can accommodate 2 guests (queen bed) and possibly a 3rd when utilizing a twin day bed. The upstairs unit can accommodate a small child, ONLY, if rented separately.
Wifi and lockbox code, directions to the house as well as any additional information will be provided upon arrival.
