A stylish studio apartment for 2 people, close to the skiing amenities of the town of Le Praz, near Chamonix, this is an ideal base for an active holiday in the Mont Blanc region at any time of year.
This first-floor apartment, in a traditional style residence, is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by nature, with uninterrupted views of the mountains, which are equally stunning in summer or winter. The apartment has been thoughtfully decorated throughout. The spacious living area, with wooden floors, has a sofa where guests can relax after a busy day. There is also a contemporary wooden cabinet, a small workstation for laptops and a flat screen TV. The glass door in the end wall leads out on to a private balcony with spectacular mountain views. The balcony has a chair and tables so guests can enjoy an aperitif al fresco.
Back indoors, there is a smart breakfast bar with 2 high stools. Next to this is the immaculate, open-plan kitchen which is well-equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee machine and toaster.
Sleeping
The sofa in the living area converts into a comfortable double bed.
Bathroom
A newly renovated, tiled bathroom has a glass shower cabinet, basin and WC.

The apartment is in the charming village of Le Praz, which is just a 20-minute walk from Chamonix. It is in a quiet location, surrounded by greenery and close to the Chamonix Golf Club. It is also near the ski slopes, the Le Flégère cable car (20-minute walk) and shuttle buses.
The ski area around Le Flégère has a good selection of moderate to difficult slopes and they are linked to the Brévent skiing area, which has more options for off-piste skiing. The area around Le Praz and Chamonix is a centre for skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, sledging and ice skating.
In the summer months, there are numerous options including hiking and biking trails through stunning mountain scenery and pony rides through the forests. Chamonix also hosts many cultural and sporting festivals during the summer months including the Fete de la Musique, the Chamonix Yoga Festival and the Climbing World Cup.
For self-catering, there is a weekly farmers market every Saturday morning, in Place Mont-Blanc, Chamonix (a 6-minute drive). Here you can pick up the best local specialities to enjoy at home. Le Praz and Chamonix have many fine restaurants and bars, which will suit all budgets and ages.
Geneva airport is a 1 hour and 15-minute drive from the apartment.
