When Basil and I are in Athens we do have our own studio in the building, so you may see us around (and were always happy to say hello if youd like to meet us!)
Wondering what our Athens neighborhood is like & if you can walk to the Acropolis? Use the metro? Tram? Trolley?
Where will you eat? Shop? Find groceries?

First: Our homes all have at least two full bathrooms and at least two bedrooms, some have 3 or 4. We dont believe 4, 5 or 6 people should share 1 bath, especially not on vacation. Second: You get the whole place to yourself, no sharing. You wont find our personal belongings in your nightstand. Third: Weve been at this for many years and know how to help travelers make the best of their visit - be it for pleasure or work. Basil and I are full time professional vacation rental managers - you are staying in an intentional holiday home. You wont find anyones clothes in the drawers but you will find lots of things provided with travelers in mind (some of which are secrets we choose not to share here since thats what makes us special :-)

We have 3 bedrooms that sleep 8, with 2 more guests accommodated on the sofa bed. Two bedrooms have Queen and twin-sized beds, making them ideal for families with small kids. The third room, an internal room with air-conditioning and double bed, is a cozy option for the teen who wants privacy.

The two full baths come with all you need to refresh after a days sightseeing. Each comes furnished with organic Greek bath products and fluffy robes. One bathroom has a hydro-massage walk-in shower, while the second features an American-style combo of jetted tub and hydro-massage shower.

AUTHENTIC ATHENS

You’re right in the center of it all at Beta Penthouse. Gaze over your morning coffee as Athenian life unfolds around you. Nearby, in the 4 “platieas,” or local squares, youll find kids at play and neighbors catching up before heading to the nearby farmers’ markets.

The tree-lined street is full of cafes and restaurants – take your pick and discover some of the best Greek food in the city. The area is favored by locals in the know and travelers after a slice of the real Athens.

And when it’s time to see the sights, you’re within walking distance of the historic center (20 - 25 minutes) and the best museums in the city, like the Benaki, the Cycladic, and the National Art Gallery. Easy-to-navigate public transportation makes it a breeze to visit Syntagma Square and the National Gardens too. You’re also a stone’s throw from the jogging paths and pine-scented playground of the Little Forest of Pagrati.
