Getting around

Hilton Head Island is accessible from the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) and the Hilton Head Airport (HHH) seasonally. Palmetto Dunes is a bicycle and pedestrian friendly neighborhood. The Dunes Buggy shuttle provides complimentary transportation within the resort (including shopping, dining and entertainment at Shelter Cove) from mid-March through Labor Day. Uber is also a convenient option.

Policies and Rules

Check In: 4PM - Flexible

Upon arrival to Palmetto Dunes, you must obtain a parking pass from the pass office. I will provide you with the access code to the front door and more detailed instructions approximately one week prior to arrival.

Check Out: 10AM

No pets

Minimum age limit for renters: 25

Please reach out to me to discuss special situations in which primary renter is under the age of 25.

House Rules

Parking:
Palmetto Dunes will allow six parking permits to be issued per stay.

Pool:
The pool will be heated upon request when the air temperature remains above 55 degrees.

Fireplace:
Do not light a fire in the indoor fireplace.

Quiet hours:
Palmetto Dunes has quiet hours in place from 10 PM - 7 AM.

Service animals:
Service animals are welcome free of charge, but must never be left alone in home without their handler. ESAs are not allowed. If a service animal is left alone in the home, a $250 pet fee per animal will be incurred. Guest is responsible for any damages or extra cleaning costs incurred.

Smoking is not allowed.

Payment Policy

50% due at booking, 50% due 60 days prior to arrival. $500 refundable security deposit due 2 days prior to check in. Payment may be made by credit card or check.

Refundable Damage Deposit

$500 refundable security deposit to be collected by Venmo or check two days prior to check in. Refunded within 7 days of check out, pending cleaning and inspection of property.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations are fully refundable until 60 days prior to arrival. If a cancellation occurs within 60 days of the arrival date, I will provide a refund to the extent that I am able to rebook the property.
