Southern Living ranks PCB #3!

Southern Living names Panama City Beach 3rd best beach town in the south as reported by the News Herald 3/12/19.

PANAMA CITY BEACH — Panama City Beach received further confirmation that is has some of the world’s most beautiful beaches with Southern Living putting it in the top three beach towns in the South.

In its annual ranking, the magazine named Panama City Beach no. 3, behind Hilton Head in South Carolina and neighboring Destin. Southern Living praised the changes made in recent years.

“PCB came through Hurricane Michael relatively unscathed, although its sister city across the bay is working toward recovery,” the article said. “If you grew up vacationing here with your parents but haven’t been in a while, you’ll be surprised by all the changes and upgrades—from Pier Park’s shopping, dining, and entertainment to new resorts and attractions.”

Also on the top ten list was Wrightsville Beach in North Carolina, Orange Beach in Alabama, Myrtle Beach in South Carolina, Gulf Shores in Alabama, St. Simon’s Island in Georgia, Pawleys Island in South Carolina and Isle of Palms in South Carolina.
