OCEAN AND SOUND VIEW. Chill Lax'n (58210) is located in the popular Dunes Area of Hatteras, NC 27943, on the ocean side of scenic Highway 12 across from Teach's Lair Marina/Restaurant. Offering both ocean and sound views, our house is located on a very quiet street with just a short walk to private beach access to one of America's most beautiful beaches. Restaurants, shopping, the Pamlico Sound or a free ferry ride to Ocracoke Island are just a quick walk, bike ride or car ride away. Hatteras Village offers a wonderful and relaxing place to unwind and Chill Lax'n is just the place to call home while your doing it.

It's easy to start your relaxing vacation at Chill Lax'n with an elevator to whisk your luggage and groceries to all three levels. The first floor of this beautiful house has a tv room with full size fridge, microwave, as well as a full bath and laundry. The 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms each with it's own bathroom with 2 rooms providing deck accessibility. There's also a den with a daybed and trundle. The 3rd floor features the well appointed kitchen and main living area with fireplace and wide screen TV with added channel line-up, master bedroom, 1.5 baths and deck accessibility from the dining area and in the living area.

The house features 4 bedrooms and 5.5 baths. The beds are King in Master #1, king in bedroom #2, Queen in bedroom #3, 1 single over double bunk with twin trundle in bedroom #4. All bedrooms, the game room and living areas have cable TV. There are 7 TVs (46' tv's with entertainment centers in upstairs and lower level living areas) Both the refrigerator/freezers have ice makers.

Enjoy outside living with 3 levels of decking and a very nice fenced in private pool with paved decking and pool furniture. There's also an outdoor shower and dressing room, fish cleaning station for the days catch and a grill to cook a fantastic meal. The decks overlook the pool on all three levels and provide ocean and sound views from the top level as well as the crows nest. The 2nd and 3rd levels are equipped with furniture including a hammock, casual outdoor and furniture locally made by "All Decked Out". Need more space? Ask about our cottage SEArenity just once house over. It's a great addition for overflow guests with an additional 4 bedrooms and 2 baths.

Hatteras island is one of the country's premier vacation spots for all who enjoy the natural beauty, pristine beaches and abundant natural areas, but did you know that Hatteras Village is world renown for surf, inshore and offshore fishing!!

The Gulf Stream currents are closest to Hatteras than anywhere else in the US, the Labrador Current collides there too making the area the gathering point of diverse biological assemblages of Northern and Southern species; that makes for great fishing! The village offers five marinas for you to find a deep sea charter or slips to dock your boat in; Hatteras Landing, Village Marina, Teach’s Lair, Hatteras Harbor or Oden’s Dock.

Nearby amenities include the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, Bodie Island Lighthouse, bird and dolphin watches, boat cruises, parasailing, rent a jet ski, great photography, bike riding, go carts, miniature golf, kayaking, paddle boarding, surfing, wind surfing, kite boarding, visiting historic sites or the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum.

Take a day trip to The Lost Colony, the Wright Brother’s Museum, the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island and Jockey’s Ridge and golf at Nags Head is about 1 hour away.

Rentals are to families or non-family groups of 25 years of age or older. No smoking; No pets. Vacation Rental taxes are currently 12.75%. (Pool opens May 1 and closes Oct. 21)
