Local Eats and Grocery Stores

There is a Trader Joes and Vons next to each other on 2401 Truxton Rd San Diego in Liberty Station which is very close to the airport and the house. There is also a Costco on 4605 Morena Blvd San Diego. Close to the house there is a gourmet deli called Olive Tree Market on Sunset Cliffs Blvd in OB ( Ocean Beach) . Also every Wednesday on Newport Ave in OB there is the OB Farmers Market which is full of organic produce, food ,fun and flowers. The link will also connect you to the OB info site.

Also recommend Point Loma Seafoods for eat in or take out to BBQ at home amazing fresh fish, it’s on the water in Point Loma at Fisherman's Landing. ( Hint: other than the gorgeous fresh fish to take out , their fresh albacore tuna salad plus a loaf of their sourdough is amazing to take back to the house for sandwiches.. best tuna on the planet !) Also next to it if you love fresh fish tacos and a beer ( or soda) sitting at an eating bar overlooking the fishing boats with a few seals looking at you , next to Point Loma Seafoods is the even more casual Mitch's ( hint: their crab cake Benedict at breakfast is to die for). In OB if you are looking for better than the average burger and eats, try Raglan Public House on 1851 Bacon St. It is a New Zealand eatery and my friends from NZ went and agreed, it’s great.
